The polls are telling a diffeent story today. Is it a GOP resurgence, or just the pollsters covering their butts after shilling for the Dems for so long?
A J Strata has the word on Gallup.
The USA Today/Gallup poll just out gives the Reps a perfect trifecta in the polls as, again, a huge lead is cut. Today the Dems only enjoy a meager 7 percentage point lead over the Reps. A month ago it was a 23 point lead, and two weeks ago it was 13 points. Updating this in a few minutes.
Blue Crab Boulevard looks at the PEW results.
According to this article, the latest Pew Research poll confirms that this election just made a very, very sharp break toward the Republicans. I cannot access Pew right now - the server appears to be down. This is enormous news and shows an even harder swerve toward the Republicans than the Washington Post/ABC News poll did.
Time to take a look around, I guess.

You folks have definitely had a good 36 hours of polling news. I'm far more nervous than I was on Friday.

The comments area of the blogosphere is a fairly lousy place for money wagers.
Head on over to TradeSports, and you can get 4 - 1 odds on the GOP holding the House. You'd win $400 if you are correct, and you'd still be making a lousy wager at those odds.
Even if everything goes your way between now and Tuesday evening, you're still going to lose 20 seats. And it isn't likely that everything will go your way.
