As lgf points out, Omar Shahin has been heading the group of Imams protesting their being removed from a commercial flight today. He has his own issues - see previous link. But one article identifies another Imam on the trip as Marwan Sadeddin.
story here: Marwan Sadeddin, another of the imams said, "What bothers me the most is these false statements and lies that we refused to leave when we were asked. That we were shouting 'Allah, Allah.' This never happened."
According to Jihad Watch:
Representatives from leading Islamic organizations are demanding that federal authorities allow an Arizona doctor to return home from Pakistan.
Nadeem Hassan, a Pakistani who belongs to an Islamic group known as Jamaat al Tabligh, was forced out of the country last week under threat of indefinite detention based in part on a Homeland Security finding that the group is a terrorist organization.
Those moves infuriated Phoenix-area Muslims, who say Hassan is a peace-loving physician and Jamaat al Tabligh is a non-violent, apolitical missionary movement.
One of the groups who protested when Homeland Security would not allow Hassen back into the country was the Imams Council of Arizona. Marwan Sadeddin is the coordinator of that group. He was also quoted when furious over an Arizona Republic article implying many Muslims did not do enough to denounce terrorism.
Marwan Sadeddin, Coordinator of the Imam’s Council of Arizona was furious and stated, “All mosques condemned numerous times all the terrorist acts and the imams are not obligated to do more....
Apparently he is also linked to:
Advanced Legal Services, LLC (Marwan Sadeddin)

The coverage by national media on tonight's broadcast news [ABC & NBC] that I watched did not mention the connection of the Imam Shahin to a Hamas "charity."
What a surprise!?!
Also, their refusal to accept the seats they were assigned makes it appear that they were acting as agents provacateurs, attempting to create a "cause celebre" to arouse radicalism in quiescent Muslims in the USA.
That wouldn't surprise me at all.

I found this post while searching for Marwan Sadeddin.
Since I'm in Minneapolis, I've written some posts about the Flying Imam lawsuit that you might find interesting. This was the most recent one.
