Jules on Saddam hanging - then ponders, why Saddam and not a few infamous Massachusetts politicians. That state does turn them out. Geesh!
The MSM confesses. They do every election, just as long as it's too little too late. They're beyond respect, especially the WaPo. Thier coverage was disgusting.
Just one example, they won't dare tell you how Dems are going to raise taxes.
So much for the public's right to know.
And the MSM has been bashing Santorum. But they have no problem ripping off his blog.
I'll be back ... so will Arnold. And perhaps a few other surprises this year, too. At least the R's do have the momentum leading up to Tuesday. Despite the nonsense Newsweak published.

"they won't dare tell you how Dems are going to raise taxes."
For that to happen, Mr. Bush will have to fail to use his veto pen. The U.S. House of Representatives can't raise taxes all by their lonesome.

"The U.S. House of Representatives can't raise taxes all by their lonesome."
Lacking line item veto, the essentially can. Just include tax increases hidden in a bill it would otherwise be political suicide to veto.
You might recall Clinton accusing congress of "shutting down the government", when in fact it was him who did just that with his veto pen. The media, and you, would spin it the other way this time if Bush unsheathed the veto pen. This time it would be the president who "shutdown the government", not the congress.
The rules are different for republicans.

the rules are always different when you have a 2 party system- there will always be finger pointing, yada yada.. what this country needs is an equally strong 3rd party in the running.

A three party system is terrifc if you want a country where a party supported by a minority holds the balance of power.

"The media, and you, would spin it the other way this time if Bush unsheathed the veto pen."
If his ONLY veto wasn't a cynical base pleasing move that flew in the face of 70% of the American people, then maybe he would get the benefit of the doubt.
"The rules are different for republicans."
'If I can assign one word to the Republican Party it would be...victim. It must be tough to be a middle class to wealthy white christian middle American Republican. Not even the Jews in Germany had it so tough.
