lol Gee, what incredible strength the new Democrat Majority is going to display. Their first act appears to be getting bitch slapped by Grandmother and Speaker to be Pelosi.
"She will ensure that they [the Murtha camp] win. This is hard-ball politics," said Rep. Jim Moran (D-Va.), a longtime Murtha supporter. "We are entering an era where when the Speaker instructs you what to do, you do it."
ha ha ha I wonder if they'll have to ask her for permission to go potty, too. ha ha ha
And if you are thinking of accusing me of being sexist - perhaps. But the fact is Speakers traditionally don't meddle in these races. So Grandma asked for it.
What an idiot. She's already splitting the caucus.

Give `em another two weeks. When they are done pouring champagne, measuring for drapes and carpet, issuing threats about repealing tax cuts, babbling about investigations, impeachments, dusting off the horrible 1993 socialist health care plan, drawing up the troop exit plan, plotting the total cut in funding for the war on terror, caucusing on the general amnesty for illegal aliens, gitmo internees and domestic felons, child molesters and elected officials in the dem party that took bribes, elevating john (ABSCAM) murtha to sainthood and legalizing drugs, they will be at each others throats over their 2008 nominee for prez.
The general mayhem and howling and growling and lack of any clear leadership in the majority party ranks will be proof that in the 2006 election, the american voting public will have given proof to the that old saw about "the masses are asses".....god dammit....where is theodore roosevelt when we really need him?
al queda is celebrating the election results.
we have two dark years ahead, america. buckle up...it will be a very bumpy ride!
when the dems needed another fdr or jfk they have pelosi, reid, the hildabeast and the other usual suspects, kerry, leahy, drunk kennedy, charlie 'draft `em all rangel and dick tracy waxman.
an american tragedy in the making.

Too bad you Cons screwed up Iraq. You macacas are now irrelevant. Keep whining.

ok, all you non-leftwing-idiots out there, the time has come to take good notes. preparation for '08 starts right now, not in 18 months. the lefties took power via the strategy of "not talking about their plans", and, since the gop was busy acting like a bunch of pathetic morons, it worked.
but now the lefties have the power they've so desperately dreamed of lo these 12 long years. and, as we're seeing, they're *talking* now.
so! WRITE THIS STUFF DOWN, folks! what was their first official act as majority party? how'd the first 100 hours go? how quickly did they raise (or try to raise) taxes? how soon did they try and expand gun control? how fast did they pass a cut-n-run resolution? 'free health care for all' WILL be resurrected....when? how soon? etc etc etc
then use it against them in 2 years. the voters fell for the 'stealth' routine this time, but in '08, there'll be lots to talk about. since you can be sure the msm WON'T remind us of the scumocrat follies, it's up to us.

You cons are so boring. Your miserable failure of a leader lead you into the abyss and all you can do is trash your betters. You guys and Terry Schiavo have a lot in common.

"You guys and Terry Schiavo have a lot in common."
Yes, like the late Schiavo, the wingnuts don't have the cerebral capacity to track a balloon.

you can always tell when its shift change time at starbucks: the $6 per hour liberals ("this is the best job i've ever had!!") enter, and try to act superior - today, they made fun of a dead person. tomorrow? who knows! perhaps they'll rub feces on their faces ("hey! look at me! look what i'm doing!!") and call it political performance art. were it not so predictable, it might almost be pitiful.

Speaking of dead people, how's Santorum doing?? lolol.

"lolol" <---- That looks like Pelosi caught in the headlights of 'dang, I actually have to stop whining and come up with a plan'.

It's true, you cons are whiny losers. Iraq has been a collossal failure in terms of lives lost, money wasted and goals met. On that basis alone, the GOP should be ousted. But combine that with the epedemic corruption (Delay, Cunningham, Abramoff, Ney and on and on) along with the closeted gays Foley, Mehlman, Haggard and top it off with the racism of Macacawitz and you should be happy to have only lost 33 in the House. What a disgrace.

I am struck by the fact that "They" won, but the anger persists. The Left has been so driven by seething hate that their big victory seems to have done little to abate the anger. The comments I see here are pretty typical. The time for complaining is over. Now the Democratic Leadership has to actually create one of those governing 'coalitions' they espouse all the time, and deliver the goods. Good luck. Pelosi has none of the wily steeliness or intellect necessary to juggle all of this. She is already misstepping. Give her a few months, and I predict a major debacle.
