It appears when he wasn't producing newsletters for the North Carolina League of Women Voters, Andrew Reed was busy duplicating and disseminating child pornography.
Most depicted children as young as 6 engaged in sex acts with adults or other children.
The Democrat activist's website is down but a cached version is available.
Andrew Reed has spent 25 years as a marketing specialist, 15 of them in national television advertising and marketing. He has worked extensively in theatre marketing, retail sales and advertising, and promotion for both nonprofit and for-profit organizations. His portfolio includes NBC promotional brochures for international distribution of TV movies; redesign and production of all marketing materials (playbills, newsletters, brochures) for Asheville Community Theatre; research and publication of a 16-page "Study Guide To Arthur Miller's The Crucible," including historical material on the New England witch hunts, an overview of the McCarthy era, and a biographical sketch of the playwright; and complete redesign and monthly editing of the League of Women Voters newsletter, recognized statewide as the best local LWV publication in NC.
Given that the League is very involved in the on going role of the judiciary in American politics, and the activist / kiddie porn distributor only received ten months for his crime, perhaps they'll have something to say about the matter.
See more at Stop the ACLU - the League is also linked to the ACLU.

At least he'll be out in time for the 08' election cycle and be well positioned to run for congress and get a seat on important committees ;->

Nice shot, PA.

I have some 'line drawing' to do here.
A person can be a pervert and still be good at what they do.
Remember Dick Morris' little episode?
If every group, organization, party, or boy scout troop had to do a full background check of every person they hired, invited or consulted,
we'd be screwed and outnumbered by lawyers and private investigators.
And imagine if we hired 'saintly' types, like Jim Baker or Jimmy Swaggert.
People hide things. People are hypocrites. People deceive. People are liars.
I can't condemn an organization for having hired some pervert.
I CAN hold them responsible if they do not take action upon learning of that pervert.
