Yeah. Cutting words from a proven liar who polls lower than cancer.

Oh, come on, Jamie - you know you love dick!

An editorial, which will appear in the Army Times, Air Force Times, Navy Times, and Marine Corps Times newspapers on Monday says. "... the time has come, Mr. President, to face the hard bruising truth: Donald Rumsfeld must go."

I know you're having a good old time bashing Kerry but smell the coffee. This all Republican government is an abject failure, it's time to vote the incompetent bums out and give the Democrats a chance to do better.

Wonderful speech.

I find it hard to support a formerly great party led by Kerry, Dean, Kennedy, Pelosi, and Hillary. I support our military. Many of my best high school students are defending our liberty with honor and valor. They support President Bush and VP Cheney.

Are we going to surrender, again, after we have won? Are we going to spit on our troops? Are we going to stand by while the people who supported us, only desiring to have what we have, freedom, are butchered? What will the Islamofascists do to the women who merely wanted to go to school and to vote?

After they finish the job of butchering their own people, something they do without remorse, they will come and butcher us. My children and grandchildren to come will curse you liberals for selling us out.

"...it's time to vote the incompetent bums out and give the Democrats a chance to do better."

What, AGAIN?

Hey - =I= love Dick.

Ed, maybe you can widen your view to realize what's going on around the globe... not just in Iraq. I also suggest you look at the history of Islamic terrorists and attacks on US embassies and interests, as well as look at the UN resolutions and terrorist backing in Iraq. You have to shake off this denial... Kerry is the same as he was decades ago, slandering our troops at a time of war and meeting with the NVA in France.
Look up sedition while you're at it.

I thank God I would never have to depend on you to defend our freedoms... or yourself for that matter. Get out of your box and see what's happening in the world. Three churches burned and teachers shot in Thailand, after the PM apologized to muslims. School girls beheaded.

Would it take a Beslan here on our soil to convince you? I guess the 10 planes to be headed to our cities from Britain didn't, as well as 9-11.
Go to MEMRI or the CAIR site, see the legislation they're putting forward and their ties to terror. If you think the party of 'We killed the Patriot Act", no foreign surveillance, rights for terrorists (never done in our history btw), illegal immigration (if you go to Arizona Republic and search for the Other than Mexicans breakdown, you will be shocked), leaking of our classified secrets and the number of Arab and other legal cases on the dockets for terrorist financing all over this country... you have to wake up. This is not a game in grandma's basement. Do you realize a poll was taken in Michigan where 80% of muslims want sharia law?
Do you think you'll be the only one out of dhimmi status? (That's at the CAIR site as well).

Our troops that are spilling their blood... that the democrats care so much about and Rangel has promised to defund, that they parade as victims to get in power (See Wesley Clark and votevets), while they support code pink as they stood weekly in front of Walter Reed with signs stating Blood for Oil, was it worth it, you should have died... waiting for the bus with injured troops on it to pass by. Obviously you haven't served or know anyone close that has. I'll not call you a coward, but I will call you inexperienced in this country's history and a victim of liberal education.
I hope one day you'll realize the treasure your country is and how we fought to keep our freedoms. Take a look at the Barbary Coast in our history as well, and who we were fighting and why.

This is not one theatre in Iraq, if we leave they'll leave us alone. Tell that to France, who participated in Oil For Food and sent no troops... Paris still burns daily. Tell that to Spain, who were pressured to switch to a socialist candidate by the bombings and still fights terror. Tell it to Denmark... I don't have to tell you what happened there over cartoons.
Tell it to South America, where Hizballah has been for decades (didn't know that did you?)... with their attacks. Tell it to the Africans, where for decades and up to this minute, millions have been killed, churches burned, children taken into slavery and Christians decimated. Tell it to Jordan and other countries, who are repeatedly bombed. They had nothing to do with the WOT. They're killed their own people and send their own children to die... do you think that'll stop when the troops touch back on our shores?

And the wonderful VV Wesley Clark shill you threw in... most military don't subscribe to Gannett publications because of their left stance, this will make sure those few that do cancel subscriptions as well. What does it tell you of the character of a man who went to Bosnia and other missions and so totally messed up, and discounts what this would do to the morale of the troops... oh I forgot, they're for the troops right. A little insight, I served under Carter, Reagan and Clinton; I don't have to tell you (even though Jimmy flies the globe saying different and revising history), what happened during the hostage crisis and who he put in place of the Shah... you got it. Do I have to tell you about the military cuts under Clinton? (research it), a went on weekends and had no ammo for the range... if that tells you anything. Do you remember how many times we were attacked in the 90s? As far as Reagan, I was just horrified we would have to go to Russia... of course, I didn't have to worry. I still wished he had avenged my brother in Beirut... my only issue, but he's dead now... and he didn't travel the country bashing his own country and military... you know, how former presidents never did before Carter and Clinton?

If this party, that doesn't hold their own corruption accountable and reelects them for life (which you have to admit... at least the pubbies resign or are forced to resign), what do you think they will do with national security?

Now should the democrats take power... I would like to see you comment in two years... and tell me what you think, if you're able to.

Rant off/

As for the Military newspapers, it's not what the editorial manager types/says the day before an election, as he is a civilian, it is what the letters to the editor will say as a response in the following editions.

It's disturbing how absolutely irresponsible leftist and Democrats are. It's obvious the world is on the brink of Islamic-caused disaster and Democrats want to hobble the only force on Earth that could prevent it.

Thank you for that excellent, amusing, and very much heart-warming video.

I'm a huge fan of VP Cheney.

Here's the DOD's point by point rebuttal of the hit piece by the 'Army Times' (owned by Gannett of USA Today infamy):

http://www.defenselink.mil/home/dodupdate/index-b.html

And here's one excerpt:
"Abizaid taken out of context

CLAIM: “Active-duty military leaders are starting to voice misgivings about the war’s planning, execution and dimming prospects for success. Army Gen. John Abizaid, chief of U.S. Central Command, told a Senate Armed Services Committee in September: ‘I believe that the sectarian violence is probably as bad as I’ve seen it ... and that if not stopped, it is possible that Iraq could move towards civil war.’”

FACTS: Military commanders involved in Operation Iraqi Freedom have continually expressed their belief in the importance of the mission in Iraq. The selective use of General Abizaid’s quote from September ignores other things that General Abizaid said at that hearing. For example, he also said:

“This is a hard thing. And it’s going to take a long time. And it’s going to take a lot of courage and a lot of perseverance and unfortunately more blood, and it’s going to take more treasure. But there are more people in Iraq that are working with us to try to make their country a better place than are trying to tear it apart. . . .The people that are trying to tear it apart are ruthless. They are pulling out everything that they can to make it fail. . . .And it’s hard. That’s why we kept extra forces there. And it’s hard and it’s tough and it’s difficult, but we will prevail. . . But I can tell you, people have a right to express their opinion. There’s political activity. There’s freedom of the press. There are things that are happening in Iraq that don’t happen anywhere else in the Middle East. And we ought to be proud of it.” "

Dick Cheney for President. I would love to see him crush any liberal that goes up against him. I dont beleive the polls that says he has low numbers. Every republican loves this man because he is honest although he may be a bad shot.

I agree, brent. He would be the best man for President. It makes me sad that it's likely he never will be.

um, Ed,

You do know those publications have little to do with the military itself do you not? No one from the Gannett provided editorial boards at those publications have much to do with our servicemen in the first place...
