Speaking of terrorists, something must be going on. It isn't like bin Laden to let an election go by without at least releasing a tape. Nothing from the American or Zawahari, either. And I'm not sure if that's good, or bad.
AJStrata had something I linked to the other day that suggested some al Qaeda operatives in Saudi Arabia were making their way back to Afghanistan, the best guess being that perhaps somehting was wrong with bin Laden.
Could be. But they also have a habit of calling their operatives back when they are planning a strike, as they did in 2001.
Interesting times. I hope the Democrats don't do anything stupid in terms of our ability to uncover, or monitor terrorist communications. Hopefully they have enough sense to know that won't play well across America.
The Canadians have been killing the Taliban in huge numbers for months. Maybe they are tired of having their asses kicked.
