There are at least two larger worlds in political America, putting aside all the party nonsense. Most clicking through here are into politics, but the vast majority of America is not. And some portion of that population will wake up tomorrow and go to the polls.
How will they vote? Or, why? Heck, who knows. That's why we have elections ... to find out. I just wish more of them had a freaking clue what they were doing. Anyway, the Examiner thinks we may be Sleepwalking into the Gathering Storm.
WASHINGTON - “You ask, what is our aim? I can answer in one word: It is victory, victory at all costs, victory in spite of all terror, victory, however long and hard the road may be; for without victory, there is no survival.” — Winston Churchill, speech in the House of Commons, May 13, 1940
But, then, it wouldn't be the first time for that. For all the talk of American arrogance associated with power and strength ... isn't it actually more arrogant to take people who would destroy you for granted, or unseriously, perhaps? Hmm.
Meanwhile, over at RedState, it appears voting trends may favor traditional marriage in Colorado ... it's a ballot issue there.
Our contacts in Colorado tell me that the New Jersey Supreme Court same sex marriage decree is having a bigger impact on the electorate than the Ted Haggard scandal is.

"...isn't it actually more arrogant....."
Yes. But this extends that descriptor: Political Correctness: A doctrine fostered by a delusional, illogical
liberal minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media,
which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a
turd by the clean end.

The Death Knell of the MEME, 'Bush Lied - People Died!
RBT just posted this piece. I would encourage your readers to spread the word.
BTW I've personally met Iraqi Gen Sada, Saddam's Secrets, at one of his speaking engagements. I believe him to be truthful about what he knows.
See the links to audio/video interviews and presentations by Gen Sada in the piece below.

RBT just linked to this brilliant piece by renowned professor of public policy James Q. Wilson that the MSM is in the tank with the enemy in the GWOT
RBT couldn’t agree more with Professor Wilson!
RBT has been busy all weekend working with Ray Robison, Mark Eichenlaub, and Scott Malensek to break a story that the LL and MSM have been ignoring.
This story has been largely ignored by the MSM until the NYT broke with the story on the IAEA hit piece on Saddam nuclear secrets being revealed on the government’s website.
The realization that President Bush did not lie about Saddam is crucial to securing the continued support and will of the American people to win the GWOT.
This is a story that all Americans need to hear.
