An Iran / al Qaeda Alliance

If the MSM reports at Hot Air are true, you can forget about approaching Iran for help in the Middle East. Not that I'm big on the idea, myself.

Bush doesn't seem to be, either. But it's getting so it is hard to tell what's going to happen with the Baker Commission. This is not the time to have a bunch of appeasement minded Democrats in the Congress.

But if you have to go to war, I guess you go to war with the Congress you have. Even if they often sound like they are rooting for the other side.

Links between Iran and al-Qa’eda date back to the early 1990s, when bin Laden was based in Sudan. According to the US 9/11 Commission report, Iran’s Revolutionary Guards helped to train al-Qa’eda fighters, and the Iranians were suspected of helping al-Qa’eda to carry out the truck bomb attacks against an American military base in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, in June 1996 that killed 19 US servicemen…
