Just one quick question for the people who have no issue with this. So, um, I'm wearing a Grand Wizard costume to an NAACP party next year? Appropriate?

University of Pennsylvania president Amy Gutmann threw her annual Halloween costume party at her home Tuesday night. Among the guests was Saad Saadi, who came dressed as a suicide bomber

This woman deserves to be removed immediately. This is disgraceful and insulting to Israel, to the damned world, for heaven's sake. And it also insults our troops, many who have died from individuals with the same ideology this mocks.

What an absolute disgrace.

No. It's a costume. I don't know the intent behind them so I tend to shy away from fake outrage. Prince William more than likely doesn't believe in putting Jews in ovens, so I could care less about what he wore for a party. I think Lugers are incredibly cool guns, but I ain't a Nazi.

I am calling for the immediate termination of President Amy Gutman for her disgusting decision to host a party that allowed a mock suicide bomber to attend.

As a veteran and father of a soldier now stationed in Iraq, I consider her choice to support the act to be literally a heinous and shameful irresponsibility which smacks of a reckless and loathing disregard for our troops everywhere and their families and the civilians doing their part to support and uphold freedom and democracy.

In the meantime, I intend to contact every veterans group in the United States for support to address President Gutmans reprehensible lack of common sense and discretion. Hopefully, enough publicity will be brought about which will support the action to remove her from office as expeditiously as possible. It is beyond my comprehension that anyone would act in such a careless manner in view of the current violent conflicts present in the world today.

In my opinion, she has committed a criminal act and should be punished for it.

Each year, the president hosts a Halloween party for Penn students. More than 700 students attend. They all crowd around to have their picture taken with me in costume. This year, one student who had a toy gun in hand had his picture taken with me before it was obvious to me that he was dressed as a suicide bomber. He posted the photo on a website and it was picked up on several other websites.

The costume is clearly offensive and I was offended by it. As soon as I realized what his costume was, I refused to take any more pictures with him, as he requested. The student had the right to wear the costume just as I, and others, have a right to criticize his wearing of it.

I think this is made up outrage and I think this kid who dressed this way was stupid but so is someone who dresses as the devil. I am very conservative but I dont think people should make bash someone who wants to dress a certain way. The point is, Larry Summers raised meaningful academic questions regarding achievement differences between men and women in mathematics and engineering, and was run out of office by feminist thought police. So, of course, there is a huge double standard on college campuses. Liberals approve beamingly of this double standard, because they currently control it. Their
views will change quickly should the political balance alter. Look how they scream and whine about Fox News now! One station presents a reasonably balanced viewpoint, and they're bent out of shape.

In Gutmann's defense, college presidents are so dazed by their mind-numbing daily run of social activities that she probably had no idea what was happening. However, given her track record of ultra liberal publications in political "science", one is tempted to wonder. And, of course, had it been Larry Summers, he'd be gone in sixty seconds. Different rules for male vs. female college presidents, of course.
