Who Says Hastert Knew About Foley?

While Drudge and the AP have glaring headlines - Hastert's Office Told Of Foley Two Years Ago ... who exactly was told is far from clear. From what I can tell, Kirk Fordham is saying is that he had discussions with Senior Staffers at the highest level of the House.

If that's the case, then it could be true that someone was protecting Foley, or playing down his problems by not telling Hastert, or anyone else. Of course, don't expect the AP or the rest of the MSM to point out that possibility. And when they are forced to, it'll be done as a sign of Hastert's incompetence for retaining staff that didn't tell him everything.

This whole thing is starting to reek and I'm not so quick to see Fordham as an innocent victim, not just yet.

WASHINGTON -- A senior congressional aide said Wednesday he told House Speaker Dennis Hastert's office in 2004 about worrisome conduct by former Rep. Mark Foley with teenage pages -- the earliest known alert to the GOP leadership.

Kirk Fordham told The Associated Press that when he was told about Foley's inappropriate behavior toward pages, he had ``more than one conversation with senior staff at the highest level of the House of Representatives asking them to intervene.''

Kirk Fordham's gay. And, just lost his job. He was an aide to both Foley and Reynolds. WHile Hastert is going to turn out to be a hero to gay people. Because he's the one showing tolerance.

And, by now, Jordan Edmund turns out to have been 18 at the time he was LOL'ing Foley. He's now 21. And, he was a student at UC Berkeley. Makes ya wonder if he didn't need more protection in San Francisco than DC?

And, it will also turn out that Foley CRUISED bars. (Bars. You know. Where they serve booze. And, there are lots of laws that tell the owners if they want to keep their liquor licenses they'd be very stooopid to fail checking ID's. And, serving minors.) Not that it doesn't happen.

But on the HILL, Hastert doesn't have the tool where he can go in and "see" someone else's email messages. NOT EVEN IF THEY'RE TERRORISTS, according to the donks. WHo our hell bent in destroying America's fabric of tolerance.

The other set of finger prints on the outtings? David Corn. Of the Nation. The guy who put the Plame mess out there. And, yes, the donks wanted that investigated, too.

How do you get more votes for democraps in our coming November election, if you've just pushed gays out to appear as sick-o's? Are we back to accepting that gays have sex in toilets? And, marriage rites aren't for predators? Seems a hornet's nest been poked.

And, Roger L. Simon wants to get the credit for labelling this one: MasturGATE. I think lots of students at Berkeley would see through the donk's claim that this whole thing is to "protect them."

I think the protection racket just exploded.
