Ford makes an effort to excuse his behavior by telling the press how he just wanted to debate the issues with Corker - who he said he could never find.

Bull. This was a case of "You can't be saying that about my mama." Pure and simple childish, playground revenge.

(I haven't seen the ad, so have no idea what I'd do under the circumstances except to acknowledge politics brings out the worst in everyone, it seems.)
