Updated: Video - John Kerry Is A Disgrace

Video below via Drudge

And he continues to prove it in his own words. Hotair has the audio.

“You know, education, if you make the most of it, if you study hard and you do your homework, and you make an effort to be smart, uh, you, you can do well. If you don’t, you get stuck in Iraq.”

The bastard should be tried for treason and shot! Americans need to remember that this is the last Presidential nominee of the Party that seeks control of the Senate and the House. We don't need people like this in leadership positions.

isn't that the same kerry whose fortune depends entirely on the whim of whichever heiress he's married to at the moment? the same kerry who blamed his ski-slope tumble on the secret service guy guarding him on the slopes? "that son of a bitch right there made me fall!" the same kerry who cheerfully stabbed his fellow servicemen in the back 2 seconds after he realized doing so would get him network airtime?

once an whiny elitist bitch, always a whiny elitist bitch. perhaps teresa will be angered and cut his allowance.

Does Kerry still think there is a draft?

Assuming it is legit, Thank God for the American voter -- well, at leats the 62 million who voted for Bush

Well I hope he just lost all the military votes and their families and friends-keep talking Kerry.

I give up. Where is the treason?

"and you make an effort to be smart, uh, you, you can do well."

As if someone can 'make' themselves smart. How many of the kids in Iraq are using the experience in order to utilize the G.I. bill so they *can* get an education when otherwise that option would not be open to them because they haven't the money.

What about the officers? They're educated.

God, this man is so vile.....and so *not* smart.

Here's the treason: Every time this man opens his mouth to assure Americans he's the man for us it's treason:

Treason -
Date: 13th century
1 : the betrayal of a trust : TREACHERY
2 : the offense of attempting by overt acts to overthrow the government of the state to which the offender owes allegiance

the betrayal of a trust

You mean like this:

"We know where they are. They're in the area around Tikrit and Baghdad and east, west, south and north somewhat."

or this

"My belief is we will, in fact, be greeted as liberators."

or this

"Ladies and gentlemen, these are not assertions. These are facts, corroborated by many sources, some of them sources of the intelligence services of other countries."

or this

"Major combat operations in Iraq have ended. In the battle of Iraq, the United States and our allies have prevailed."

or this

"It's hard to conceive that it would take more forces to provide stability in post-Saddam Iraq than it would take to conduct the war itself and to secure the surrender of Saddam’s security forces and his army. Hard to imagine"

or

"We've never been stay the course"

Do you still trust anything Dick Cheney or Donald Rumsfeld or anything George Bush have to say about military decisions? If you do, YOU are part of the reason why soldiers are dying today in Iraq. It's time to stop scapegoating those not making the decisions. The fault lies with those who do.

Hey Jaime,

why are you giving us your talking points? This has to do with the fact that John Kerry just belittled US soldiers ONCE AGAIN.

How on God's earth can anyone with a wit of decency today be a democrat.

Jaime - defending Kerry only makes you look as petty, pathetic and disgusting as he is. You should have enough sense to keep your head down. As you can't, obviously you aren't even intelligent enough to serve in Iraq, according to Kerry. I guess that puts you in the welfare class on John Kerry's scale.

Don't you have a government cheese line to stand in, or something?

I don't see the Treason here.
And, I'm not a Democrat, never have been, never will be.

I believe its been pointed out before, but
Kerry did his duty when his country called
Bush, Cheney, Bolton, Delay etc did not.

And,
Jaime hits the nail on the head.

Ed Muntin: Like you're smart enough to judge.

"defending Kerry only makes you look as petty, pathetic and disgusting "

Really. So when I wrote this:

As the statement reads, it looks like he said something really dumb and he
should apologize.

I was defending him? Really, Dan Riehl? THAT statement is a defense of him? Lies just infest every part of you. No scruples. No soul.

My point is, as dumb as what Kerry said was, IT DOESN'T MATTER. It's desperate and pathetic. The real decision makers aren't held accountable when the Dan Riehls of the internets write 5 posts about one statement. It's fake, just like the Jim Webb is a pedophile lie.

"Don't you have a government cheese line to stand in, or something?"

No. I have a job. I grew up in a single parent household and my mother was on welfare for my early childhood. She worked her way out of poverty and gave me the opportunites she never had. For you to insinuate that sinceI am someone who has a different political philosophy that I am unemployed or homeless. Only an elitist coward chickenhawk as yourself would have the balls to write fighting words over a thousand miles away.

Never underestimate blind ignorance of true believers. The GOP knew they could spin this as something it clearly wasn't and the lemmings would jump right on board. Read the transcript, watch the whole video, he's CLEARLY talking about the President not the troops.

Ohhh, so then there's the arguments of some about how that's ridiculous because Bush went to Yale and has a Havard MBA. Well let's go to George W Bush to handle this one:

"And I said, great, just so long as we don't have to compare transcripts. She's the Ph.D., I'm the President."

"he's the PhD, and I'm the C student, but notice who is the advisor and who is the President."

"By the way, this guy -- PhD. See, I was a C student. He's a PhD, so he's probably got a little more credibility. I do think it's interesting and should be heartening for all C students out there, notice who's the President and who's the advisor. "

No it's not the same quote, our President just loves using that one every time he shares the stage with anyone having impressive credentials. And what kind of kool-aid do you have to be gulping to think it's hard to believe that the President is not the sharpest tool? The Daily Show doesn't even have to work to find clips of his gaffes. They probably have more than they can handle at any given time.

Of course a lot of the people on the right these days can relate to Bush's years at Yale -- seeing as he was a cheerleader. You guys make Rove's job so easy, just twist some words or misstate a position, and bingo the megaphones come out and and the pom poms start shaking.

Just sad that Republicans would rather attack political opponents than the enemies of America.

jesus, dwight, you guys really ARE like robot lemmings.

the topic was: kerry, john, moronic remarks of. so quick like a bunny, in you rush to whine about the mean ol' gop for pointing them out, and dumb ol' george bush, anyway! devastating arguments there, dwight. why not toss in a few bon mots about evolution & global warming while you're at it? they're just as irrelevant to the topic at hand....

how'd you laboriously copy it down? "never underestimate the ignorance of true believers". look in the mirror, pal.

OUR TROOPS UNDER ATTACK

Our troops in Iraq are under heavy attack. They are being attacked by
Iraqi terrorists. And, they are being attacked by American politicians
... politicians from both parties.

A top Democrat, John Kerry, makes a joke implying that our troops are
not very smart.

And, a top Republican, John Boehner, blames our generals for our
problems in Iraq, implying that our generals are not very smart.

Kerry apologized for his joke, and said that he botched a joke
aimed at George Bush.

Boehner has refused to apologize for his accusation.

I feel sorry for our generals. The big boss under estimated the
terrorist threat in Iraq, under estimated the threat of sectarian
violence in Iraq, and then failed to send them enough help. And then
they get the blame for the inevitable problems caused by the big boss's
mistakes.

And, I feel sorry for our troops. They are paying a heavy price for
the big boss's mistakes.

STUCK IN IRAQ

According to John Kerry, he botched a joke aimed at George Bush.

He claims that he was trying to make the following point: Because
George Bush failed to do his homework, we are now stuck in Iraq.

After we bash Kerry for his stupid joke, perhaps we should ask the
question: Did George Bush do his homework?

Bush under estimated the terrorist threat in Iraq, despite the fact
that he went there to fight terrorism. He under estimated the threat
of sectarian violence, despite the fact that Iraq is composed of three
ethnic groups who hate each other. And he under estimated the number
of troops needed in Iraq, ignoring the advice of a number of his top
military people. As a result, there was no adequate plan to win the
peace in Iraq, and no adequate means to secure that peace.

It sure seems like George Bush failed to do his homework.

And if that is the case, perhaps George Bush should apologize to our
troops for that failure. They are paying a heavy price because of it.

And so is our nation.

It could be that this issue boils down to the following: "botched joke
by John Kerry" versus "botched policy in Iraq by George Bush".

And here's a troubling thought. If George Bush failed to do his
homework on the terrorist threat in Iraq, did he fail to do his
homework on the terrorist threat in America? (Keep in mind that he's
gotten D's and F's from the bipartisan 9-11 Commission.)
