Where's John?

Update: Even the BBC turns on Kerry:And when you review Mr Kerry’s comment, it’s hard to argue:

When you lose the BBC, you've lost it all.

Update 2: Okay, I take it back. When you lose the BBC and Andrew Sullivan, you've lost them all. It's a sad, sad situation

Michelle Malkin has a screen cap of Kerry's schedule this afternoon. It ran through Nov. 4. Not no more! Looks like Kerry's future is very much in doubt. Rumor has it that Therezzzza has weighed in, "Hey, I'm smart and rich and I still married a boob!"

Below is how it looks now.

And why hasn't the Dem Leadership weighed in? Allah is updating regularly.

Updated: Kerry Disinvited In Iowa - Cancels Schedule: Kerry Abandons Veterans: Isn't Jim Webb Wearing His Combat Boots Today?

Webbkerry_1_1

Be sure and scroll down for updates.

John Kerry was scheduled to appear in front of a Veterans group tomorrow, according to Fox TV his events have now been canceled. He doesn't even have the courage to face a Veteran's organization, but he can stand at a California college and smear our troops in Iraq yet once, again - just as he did when he called them terrorists.

Jim Webb has reminded voters time and time again of his noble service in Vietnam. He's claimed to be wearing combat boots everyday of the campaign. Yet, a full day has now gone by and he is still MIA as regards John Kerry's despicable comments.

As I said earlier, I would have thought Webb would have been the first to speak out. Apparently his Democrat masters have told him to stand down. Unbelieveable, I can't believe Webb would sell out the troops as easy as he has his party affiliation, what? three times now?

You can read more about Webb's tactics of using Leftists to do his dirty work on the Allen blog and also here at Hot Air.

Update: OUCH!! I heard it live it's worse on video - see previous link. McCain nails Kerry for his Winter Soldier testimony ... Colmes walked right into that!! Doh!

Update2: AMVETS demand an apology. I believe a number of other Veteran groups have as well, including the American Legion. Ace brings the funny with botched Kerry jokes.

LANHAM, Md., Oct. 31 /U.S. Newswire/ -- AMVETS' National Commander expressed disbelief and disappointment in the comments by Senator John Kerry Monday.

“For the Senator to suggest that today’s United States military is made up of uneducated men and women who didn’t ‘study hard’ or ‘make an effort to be smart’ is ridiculous and appalling,” AMVETS National Commander Thomas C. McGriff said Tuesday. “The men and women in uniform today make up the most advanced, highly-educated force ever seen. To suggest otherwise is a slap in the face to every soldier, sailor, airman, Marine and Coast Guardsman who has spent countless hours working to better him or herself. This is also an insult to every person and organization who has worked tirelessly to provide our troops and their families with education benefits.

“Senator Kerry should retract his remarks and apologize immediately,” McGriff said after listening to comments made by Senator Kerry at a political rally in Pasadena, Calif., Monday. “It is especially outrageous coming from a member of the U.S. Senate.”

Update 3: Iowa Dem: We don't need no stinking Kerry.

Iowa candidate asks Kerry to cancel campaign visit

DES MOINES, Iowa A Democratic Congressional candidate from Iowa is canceling a campaign event later this week with Senator John Kerry.

Brucy Braley says Kerry's recent comments about the Iraq war were inappropriate.

Kerry: This One Isn't Going Away

For two years Democrats have been maligning our troops. From Jack Murtha calling them murderers, to John Kerry calling them terrorists. Kerry, being the politically tone deaf fool that he, simply couldn't keep his mouth shut for another week and the damn has broken. The anger being seen on the Right just now isn't simply political posturing before an election. Perhaps some of it is, for some. But it doesn't matter. It is the pent up frustration with Democrats who now have a history of troop bashing that has caught up with them, courtesy of John Cut and Run Reporting for Duty Kerry.

McCain was on Fox again tonight laying into Kerry and he wasn't buying any of Alan Colmes BS. Amazing of all, Michael Barrone, not known for his partisan spin, was also incensed and called Colmes defense of Kerry ... well, incomprehensible, to put it mildly.

Let the backlash which may have begun with recent Dem bragging begin. Take this one below CO-5 out of the toss up column at RCP. Heh! And Kerry's outrageous comments hadn't even broke.

Republican Doug Lamborn has opened a lead in the surprisingly contested race for Colorado's 5th Congressional District, signaling a possible backlash to projections of a big year for Democrats.

Lamborn leads Democrat Jay Fawcett 47 percent to 40 percent in a poll of 400 likely voters conducted by Mason-Dixon Polling & Research Inc. for The Denver Post.

Allah's been updating here. It's crunch time and it looks like all bets are off, this is going to be a week of all out political war. And most of the top Dems are in hiding for fear of being revealed as the Libs that they are. Wouldn't you just love to Chuck the Schmuck Schumer try and defend Kerry?

Dem Congressman: Kerry Blowing It, Again

Evidently the Congressman didn't want his name attached to the quote. So much for this all being partisan spin.

A Democratic congressman told ABC News Tuesday, "I guess Kerry wasn't content blowing 2004, now he wants to blow 2006, too."

Update: I saw this earlier. I wonder what John Cut and Run Kerry is going to do about his planned attendance at a rally with Veterans tomorrow?

Lieutenant Colonel (Retired) Joe Repya issued this statement earlier this afternoon:

The men and women serving in the uniform of our nation are not fodder for politicians to joke about. By insulting veterans and active members of the United States military as uneducated losers, John Kerry owes an apology to all the brave men and women who have ever worn the uniform of our country. As a 2005 veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom, I call on Tim Walz and the DFL Party to immediately denounce Kerry's deeply offensive remarks and rescind their invitations for Kerry to campaign in our state tomorrow.

Why Education Matters

I just realized that if you don't pay attention in class and study hard, one day you might end up working as a Kerry speech writer, or worse, a campaign adviser, or God forbid, a Democrat Presidential candidate in a tank with a funny hat like Dukakis.

Something like that might not have happened if anyone with any military experience was around. Maybe those military types aren't so stupid, after all.

Kerry, who is (ed.- was) considering another run for the White House in 2008, angrily fired back.

His statement called Republicans "assorted right-wing nut jobs."

And at a hastily arranged news conference in Seattle, Kerry said: "I apologize to no one....

Kossack Attempts To Assault Allen?

Of course the media will spin it as an innocent protester asking questions. And the un - Americablog just happens to be immediately pushing the guys email address to the press. Not that they couldn't find him by visiting his diary at Daily "Screw 'em" Kos. And I believe this blog: Kickin’ ass on the lyin’ side: A never-ending battle against stupid, ugly, deceitful and corrupt right-wing water carriers…

UPDATE: The man assaulted is Mike Stark, a first year law student at the University of Virginia. I have Mike's email contact info for any journalists who would like to speak with him. Email me.

From the way he blogs, I'd hope someone would tackle him if he got within striking distance of any Conservative.

Alter-net Funny they claim it was a former Marine, which may be true. But they claim he was manhandled, if so, he was manhandled by what looks like quite an old guy. And the idiot also had a loosely hanging backpack and wasn't approaching very slowly. Video at link.

Former Marine and first year law student, Mike Stark was asking Republican senator George Allen some questions about the arrest records he refuses to make public and whether he had ever spit on his first wife.

Some history on the Kossack, Mike Stark who attempted to disrupt an Allen event today:

"Recently I've been thinking about how to put these "guerrilla tactics" to use where it matters:  winning elections."
http://www.dailykos.com/story/2006/8/31/185126/629

"I want to leverage our capability and, occasionally flex our collective muscle by taking over wingnut show...  let's put those (deleted) on notice. ... All it would take is one troll running back to their evil lair and telling Hannity or O'Reilly or Limbaugh that we are about to ambush them..."
http://www.dailykos.com/story/2006/2/26/214031/296

At a previous event, he went up to a cameraman, found out the cameraman was with the Webb campaign and told him to get ready for the ambush he had prepared: "I told him to put his still camera away and get out his video camera."
http://www.callingallwingnuts.com/2006/08/25/senator-allen-are-you-a-racist/

At that event, he was "was asked to leave a George Allen campaign event in Staunton today after interrupting the start of a local press availability with the senator to ask him a series of questions that included a racial slur."
http://www.augustafreepress.com/stories/storyReader$40417

Describing his attempts to cause trouble, he wrote: "I’m also trying to “Roger and Me” George Allen whenever I can."

Kerry Apology Doesn't Wash

Update: Senator Frist Responds here. Excerpt below, like Frist, we shouldn't allow Kerry to get off the hook this time. He already called our troops terrorists, Murtha called them murderers - it's time to hold the Democrat Party to account. The best way to do that is by voting against them next week.

While America’s servicemen and women are fighting and dying against our adversaries in the global War on Terror, John Kerry has the gall to criticize their intelligence, their education, and their motivation for service. His comments represent the absolute worst in Democrat scare tactics and present a grave insult to our all-volunteer Armed Forces.

via CNN:

Kerry was supposed to say, "I can't overstress the importance of a great education. Do you know where you end up if you don't study, if you aren't smart, if you're intellectually lazy? You end up getting us stuck in a war in Iraq."

Unfortunately for Kerry, as followers of the 2004 campaign will recall, Bush was as good as, and actually a slightly better student than John "D Student" Kerry. See below. Even if he weren't lying, we're to assume an idiot who can't keep from bungling a joke would do any better with Iraq? Hot Air has video of Kerry bumbling and stumbling, knocking over the mic during his non-apology. Maybe he should have worn his lucky hat.

President George Bush's academic record was almost identical to Senator John Kerry's at university, despite the depiction of Kerry as the more intellectual during the 2004 presidential campaign.

Records released to the Boston Globe show that Kerry's grades at Yale University averaged 76, while Bush, who also attended Yale, averaged 77.

Under the grade system at the time, both marks equate to a C. Kerry's score seems to have been dragged down during his first year, when he got four Ds out of 10 results.

However in subsequent years, his marks improved dramatically and, in the final year, he averaged 81 (a B grade).

Kerry has previously admitted that he spent more of his energies on learning to fly than studying and told the Boston Globe that, "I always told my dad that D stood for distinction."

Bush's results appear to counter the image portrayed of him in the media as being intellectually inferior. Cartoon sketches, films and books like Stupid White Men, by Michael Moore, have all picked on his supposed dimness, pointing to his at times slow speaking style and use of mid-American vernacular.

More here.

Why Is Jim Webb MIA?

Of all the Democrats running this year, one would think Jim Webb would be the first to denounce John Kerry and be the loudest of all to do it.

It's been hours and still nothing.

Why is Jim Webb MIA on this? He knows damn well what Kerry was saying!

And where is Murtha?

The Irey campaign wants to know - and deservedly so. Maybe he's at the bank after finally getting his ABSCAM dough.

"Will Jack Murtha stand with the men and women of the American military and TODAY demand an apology on their behalf from his good friend Senator John Kerry? Or will Jack Murtha continue his cut-and-run campaign and refuse to take a stand on this matter of honor and respect?

Hot Air has an election round up post going.

John Kerry: Liar In Chief

In a despicable and insufficient response to his comments insulting American men And women in uniform everywhere, John Kerry is attempting to turn the tables to make it appear as though it were someone else's fault he made his pathetic statement.

This is the man that the Democrat Party nominated for President in 2004. Every candidate running for office under a Democrat banner this year needs to denounce John Kerry and his disgusting comments, which betray his small-minded, elitist thinking, that American servicemen are somehow less than him and less than the college audience he was addressing.

This outrage cannot be swept under the rug. It is part and parcel of why the current Democrat Party is unworthy of heading up any branch of American government, most particularly during a time of war.

This has nothing to do with President Bush. It has everything to do with John Kerry and the party that nominated him for President just two short years ago. It is why good people like Zell Miller and Joe Lieberman are abandoning that party, or being tossed out.

As presently comprised, it is not a party fit for governing America; Kerry's role as a leader of that party should make that clear to all. And Kerry's fellow Democrats who fail to denounce him and his outrageous statement in the strongest of terms are unworthy of any patriotic American's vote.

The Political Pitbull has video of Kerry's history of demeaning our military. It's almost impossible to comprehend that a party seeking political control in this country would nominate such a disgraceful figure to be Commander-In-Chief.

McCain Calls Out Kerry

via Drudge

FLASH: McCain Calls On Kerry To Apologize
Tue Oct 31 2006 11:43:14 ET

Senator Kerry owes an apology to the many thousands of Americans serving in Iraq, who answered their country's call because they are patriots and not because of any deficiencies in their education. Americans from all backgrounds, well off and less fortunate, with high school diplomas and graduate degrees, take seriously their duty to our country, and risk their lives today to defend the rest of us in Iraq, Afghanistan, and elsewhere.

They all deserve our respect and deepest gratitude for their service. The suggestion that only the least educated Americans would agree to serve in the military and fight in Iraq, is an insult to every soldier serving in combat, and should deeply offend any American with an ounce of appreciation for what they suffer and risk so that the rest of us can sleep more comfortably at night. Without them, we wouldn't live in a country where people securely possess all their God-given rights, including the right to express insensitive, ill-considered and uninformed remarks.
