Yes...how very intentionally selective of you. Not transparent at ALL.

Now you're rubbing it my face, Dan.

Damn it, I try so hard to attract trolls.

What is your secret?

I may photoshop up a bottle of Dangerous Dan's Troll Bait.

Guaranteed to brighten your day.

'Yessir, it's more fun than kickin' my dog'.

But wait!

I thought Republicans were supposed to be "the haters"?

Are these the rankorings of panic? Or just the usual voices of Democrats?

Double HEH. Nothing beats seeing tough guys slobber and wet themselves.

"Nothing beats seeing tough guys slobber and wet themselves".

Except a decisive Republican victory on November 7th!
__________________________

However, the Dems have already told us they're going to kick up a "voter fraud" firestorm - if they don't get their way!

Shall I cut and paste Truman's awesome comment where he basically tells Michael J Fox to fuck himself? He can only cut ads for Arlen Specter, right?

Not "voter fraud". There is no evidence of widespread "voter fraud" according to the Baker/Carter commission. We're monitoring "election fraud" and black box voting disasters.

Shall I link to all the news stories where Diebold machines have crashed, been hacked, cut off people's names, switched votes, added votes, or not counted votes?

I would, but you people take great pride in being ignorant. It would just waste my time.

The AP-AOL News telephone poll of 2,000 adults, 970 of whom are likely voters, was conducted by Ipsos from Oct. 20-25.

In it, 56 percent of likely voters said they would vote to send a Democrat to the House and 37 percent said they would vote Republican — a 19-point difference. Democrats had a 10-point edge in early October.

Likely voters have low opinions of both Bush’s job performance and that of the GOP-controlled Congress. The president’s approval rating is at a dismal 38 percent while Congress’ is even lower — 23 percent. Two-thirds of adults say America is on the wrong track.

But..But...

"I'm an asshole Republican and I say that Bush is awesome and liberal traitors should be shot and that Republicans are up in the polls. Your liberal sourced facts with searchable links are lies and my unsourced assertions are the truth"
-typical Riehl fan

Wonder how many takes Fox has to make on the "Boston Legal" show to make him look normal.

I'm an asshole independent and I say that I want to go kiss a penis. And that's the truth. It's unsourced, unfortunately.

"I would, but you people take great pride in being ignorant. It would just waste my "time.

Jaime: I notice no one's stopping you from leaving.

I say that I want to go kiss a penis. And that's the truth. It's unsourced, unfortunately.

LOL, somehow I doubt jaime would welcome kisses from anyone

Phoenix. I used to not like you and sometimes I still don't, but today you make me proud to be an independent.

"Shall I link to all the news stories where Diebold machines have crashed, been hacked, cut off people's names, switched votes, added votes, or not counted votes?"

Not necessary, but do please link the ones where overseas military votes weren't allowed, vans used by the RNC to take voters to the polls had tires slashed, and how DNC vans were caught going from one county then another so people could vote more than once.

That's your job.

And that's not voter fraud.

Dirty shit happens on both sides, but it usually gets found out.

"I'm an asshole independent"

So you are not a typical Riehl fan. I wasn't talking about you.

I am a Riehl fan. If I am a 'typical' Riehl fan, it is because he draws fans from all sides. That's quite an accomplishment if you ask me. I don't know how long you've been reading the site, but it has rocked with every side of the political spectrum, and for the most part, discourse has been tempered with thoughtful debate on all sides. Trolls drop in and turn things funny because one of the finer qualities of Dan is that he does not post to feed his ego. I'm sure you find that acknowledgment anathema to what you've been trying to do here, but try a few other blogs where you will find the host is far more interested in being right than in allowing people to speak what's on their minds without censure. I could send you to a few blogs where you'd be banned in two comments. That is not a judgement on your efforts - you've hung in much longer than I would; but it's to point out that you are welcome here despite some of the commentary telling you to shut up, etc. On many other blogs, you would not be welcome.

I am thinking that's about as good as I can say about Dan. Except he gives great spank. :)

"what you've been trying to do here"

What I've been trying to do here is break up the right wing circle jerk.

People need to be called on their crap. Dan Riehl should get a hundred trolls here telling him he's an ass for calling Michael J. Fox a jerky boy or reminding people over and over that Fox cut ads for Arlen Specter and neither he nor Rush or any rightie had the slightest problem with that.

The more people here lie (fetal stem cells are embryonic stem cells), the more people attack my percieved heritage (right, vato?), the more you answer a link I put up that bursts your bubble with jokes about wanting me dead the more determined I am to be a pain in the ass.

He keeps me on because he likes the hits. I say something, 3 people respond. The more he can have of that, the better for him. He wished he could have more trolls. But it also throws a monkey wrench into things. Riehl can't gather up selected posts anymore of liberals being crude because the righties here answer liberals perfectly good sources and often times solid arguments with "Fuck off and die" half the time.

"Right wing circle jerk"? This blog is mild, I can assure you, as far as 'right wing' goes. I think it draws far more independents who lean right than rabid right-wingers. I wouldn't come here otherwise. Even I have been banned from a couple of other 'right wing' blogs, so all I can say is maybe your efforts are wasted considering the temperament here.

I can't address the M.J. Fox/Arlen Specter ads. Didn't see them. Did M.J. roll around on the Specter ads? I'd make fun of him, too, if he did. That ad was disgusting. THE AD was disgusting - not M.J.'s disease. How Fox exploited his disease was revolting. Frankly, I don't get how viewers cannot separate the act with the condition. It's like a bunch of beefy guys tossing dwarfs to sell a growth hormone. Only Fox being a jerky boy on purpose so he could emote better is far more repulsive - no matter who he's championing. .... Biggest turn-off I've seen in years.

Pain in the ass? Nah. You've given as good as you've got, and you haven't relied on talking points. I have no clue what you mean by 'perceived heritage'. As far as the name-calling and 'nyah-nyah' rhetoric, yeah, it's been nasty, but it's also fun in that stupid way we all like to get back to the playground and kick sand in someone's face. That won't stop unless Dan puts the skids on it - which he does when things get really nasty.

Dan doesn't need the hits. I don't know if you've watched the blog for long, but he writes and writes whether or not he gets hits. It's what he does. As far as keeping you on,- why cut you off? You haven't done anything but passionately pursue what you believe to be right. I don't know if he's ever banned anyone. Maybe he figures the commenters will trash the trolls so badly they'll ban themselves......hell if I know. And I'll bring it up again - there are hosts out there who will ban you in a heartbeat if you challenge them. I'd name a few but don't want to go against some blog-protocol I might not know about.

The larger point - this is Dan's blog. He writes what he believes should be disseminated just as liberal bloggers write what they want heard. As for what happens when you click in - let the 'fuck you's' and 'my god you're an asshole' begin.

"Only Fox being a jerky boy on purpose so he could emote better is far more repulsive - no matter who he's championing. .... Biggest turn-off I've seen in years."

Dude, what is wrong with you? I bet you you've been told a hundred times that his shaking was a product of being on the meds.

http://www.drugdigest.org/DD/HC/HCDrugClass/0,4055,550321-550186,00.html

"Because of the progressive nature of Parkinson's disease, doses of levodopa and carbidopa usually need to be increased over time. The extended-release preparation, called Sinemet SR, allows less frequent dosing than the standard formulation. This drug can cause side effects, including involuntary movement and hallucinations."

If he didn't take his meds, he would be frozen stiff unable to make commercials or even speak (a condition the Dan Riehls of the right perfer he have). So, should I assume, no matter what state frozen stiff or shaking uncontrollably, you would not want a commercial cut at all. Phoenix, i believe you're an intelligent person, but you're embarrassing yourself right now.

This is an interview with Fox from October 5. This is the best he could control his body.

http://youtube.com/watch?v=Zq50UJh2W3w

There is no faking or exaggerating here. It's an afflicted man getting a message out the only way he knows how. I'm sorry you feel uncomfortable looking at him and it seems you'd prefer him to shut up and hide under a rock or magivally revert to his Alex P. Keaton youthfulness. Luckily he has more class than Rush Limbaugh and Dan Riehl combined. He doesn't care that his condition makes you uncomfortable. Fox doesn't care that everything people like Dan Riehl and Rush Limbaugh says about Parkinsons is 100% medically inaccurate. What he cares about is that he and people like him have hope and that rises above all this BS white noise.

Excuse me, the Dems are planning to cry "ELECTION FRAUD", not "VOTER FRAUD" after the November 7th election. It's important to maintain accuracy when devising an "open secret scam".

P.S. Diebold is the company that produces your local ATM.

Jaime,

I'm not a dude. I'm a dudette. Christ....do you really think I'd be asking Dan to tie me down and spank me if I was a dude?

I also know about Parkinson's - I've mentioned several times here that my father has it.

I will not engage in your defense of Fox and his condition. I think the ad was repulsive. Period. Had he done the ad to the world of science and to all legislators, I *might* be less turned-off by it, but he didn't. The ad was revolting on its own, but his using his condition for an ad for one candidate just made him a shill for a political party.

*I* found it just disgusting. That's it. Except I wonder if his wife ties him down in bed at night so he won't roll out and wake the chirrens...

"The ad was revolting on its own, but his using his condition for an ad for one candidate just made him a shill for a political party."

Michael J. Fox testified in front of Congress. In essence he DID do "the ad to the world of science and all the legislators" He used his condition to help Arlen Specter (REPUBLICAN-PA) get re-elected and no one complained back then.

Fox appears in ads for candidates who support Embryonic stem cell research, Democrat or Republican. There are no major Republican candidates supporting ESCR so he can't cut commercials for them. Calling him a shill is absolutely disingenuous.

And as to that little jab (now you're mocking his wife)...does your father know you joke about Fox's condition. Do you tell him you call people with the same illness as him a fraud and a Jerky Boy? Do you get a good laugh watching your father slowly deteriorate? Are you proud that you expend so much energy denigrating the very people trying to find cures for his illness? Is your father worth less than a clump of cells set to be incinerated? Does he think he is?

Shit comments like your last one cheapen you and blacken your soul.

~~~~~ THUNK! ~~~~~~~~
thunk, thunkity thunk, cloink, boink..kick kick...aaah aaah....klunk klunk....
"Shit...what was that?"
"Mom forgot to tie Dad in bed..."
"Damn... I'll be glad when election season is over and Jerky Boy goes back on his meds..."
