Updated: Foley claims no sexual contact with a minor, ever.
Foley claims to have been molested by a member of the Clergy between the ages of 13 - 15 .... yeah, so? Some bombshell. The Dems won't care about this particular possible victim of child abuse - not when he had an R after his name.
Said to be coming up soon. Word is there's a bombshell announcement. What, Foley can't type and chew gum?
Maybe it's that according to some - Foley doesn't drink?? Gawd!!
WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - When disgraced former Rep. Mark Foley announced he was entering rehab for treatment of alcoholism and "other behavioral problems," some of those who have known him for years were shocked and suspicious.
Some friends and acquaintances said they rarely saw him drink.
A former colleague, Rep. Peter King, R-N.Y., said on Fox News Channel: "I don't buy this at all. I think this is a phony defense. The fact is, I think he's responsible for what he did here and I think it's a gimmick."

Great parallels between priest abuse scandel and Foleygate by Margery Eagan at the Boston Herald:

Don't forget the democrats who merely censored Gerry Studds who raped a 17 year old boy page, sodomy at the time was punishable by imprisonment.

Yes, Carie, I thought that was wrong, too. Are you suggesting that 23 years later, we haven't evolved, or that two wrongs make a right?

we haven't evolved, or that two wrongs make a right?
I think they're suggesting there's a double standard. One for democrats, another for republicans.
They would be correct in that suggestion.
