Foley IM Leak - Royal Oak, MI
Ace is on the Royal Oak connection to the Foley IM scandal. I'm getting these maps up now and will update below. Also see Allah for the days events.
The first image shows Royal Oak, MI. Near the bottom of the image, you'll see Hamtramck and Highland Park.
The image below is the 14th District, which is John Conyer's District. This may not mean anything, but keep in mind, the head of CREW worked for Conyers - her bio here.
Melanie Sloan, Executive Director
Melanie Sloan serves as CREW's Executive Director. Prior to starting CREW, she served as an Assistant United States Attorney in the District of Columbia, where, from 1998-2003, she successfully tried cases before dozens of judges and juries. Before becoming a prosecutor, Ms. Sloan served as Minority Counsel for the U.S. House of Representatives Judiciary Committee, working for Ranking Member John Conyers (D-MI) and specializing in crime issues.
In 1994, Ms. Sloan served as Counsel for the Crime Subcommittee of the House Judiciary Committee, chaired by then-Representative Charles Schumer (D-NY). There, she drafted portions of the 1994 Crime Bill, including the Violence Against Women Act. In 1993, Ms. Sloan served as Nominations Counsel to the Senate Judiciary Committee, under then-Chairman, Senator Joe Biden (D-DE). Prior to serving in Congress, she was an associate at Howrey and Simon in Washington, D.C. and at Sonnenschein, Nath and Rosenthal in Los Angeles, California. Ms. Sloan received her undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Chicago and has published in the Yale Law and Policy Review, Legal Times, The Washington Post, and the San Diego Union-Tribune.

I smell the fingerprints of Conyers on this caper. He just can't wait to impeach Bush, and he needs the House to do it.

Isn't it interesting that Joe Wilson's name pops up in this thread? Melanie Sloan is also involved in the Wilson "Plamegate" case as one of their attorneys:

Keep in mind that even if the IP address routes to Royal Oak it may not be where the individual lives or works. It could, but it isn't definite. My IP address location has changed and has never been in my town. One time it was in a nearby town, another time it was in a town 20 minutes away. It depends on the service provider. Just something to consider.

Er... small point to interrupt your geographic mapping of IP addresses to real world locations... but that's not how the internet works.
The address of the head office of ISPs are associated with all their IP addresses. Beyond that a traceroute to a specific IP will reveal the address associated with servers which route the packet to that specific IP. It is almost totally incomplete and nowhere near accurate. That is what you are dealing with.
If you go here and look on the right-hand side of the page this server is making the same kind of best-guess of your location that has provided you this Royal Oaks IP address for the person you are trying to locate...

Spot on for you is it ? So specific and accurate that it would warrant the posting of a map to that location ?
For me it has changed in the past hour and has switched between a location ~50km away to a town ~150km away. Fancy your chances finding your way to my house using something that accurate do you ?
