Sorry for the light posting, been busy. Also nice to breath once in a while. If you're like me, I enjoy politics but right about now it reaches a fever pitch and begins to look surreal. This accusation, that one - all mostly BS - and this year has been particularly muddy. And we have, what, a week and a half still to go? lol Considering this resting up getting ready for the stretch run.
I did especially enjoy this last night on the tube - now Hot Air has the video of the Steele smackdown on Cardin. Don't know much about Steele but he looked more impressive in the bit, commercials I've seen have made him look somewhat strange. And Cardin looks like your typical empty suit.
Speaking of which, via Instapundit, it appears the beating might have done him some good. So, does this below vindicate S&M? It looks to be where it's heading ... sure would be a shame to have to get a prescription before giving a gal a little spanking. Damned doctors ... they won't be happy until they make a few bucks off of everything!!
Siberian scientists believe that addiction to alcohol and narcotics, as well as depression, suicidal thoughts and psychosomatic diseases occur when an individual loses his or her interest in life. The absence of the will to live is caused with decreasing production of endorphins - the substance, which is known as the hormone of happiness. If a depressed individual receives a physical punishment, whipping that is, it will stir up endorphin receptors, activate the “production of happiness” and eventually remove depressive feelings.
Russian scientists recommend the following course of the whipping therapy: 30 sessions of 60 whips on the buttocks in every procedure. A group of drug addicts volunteered to test the new method of treatment: the results can be described as good and excellent.

Thanks for posting this Dan. I caught it on television last night, but it was great to be able to see a rerun of MS.
Go Steele!!
