Dems Use Canadian Troop Images To Support US Soldiers

Veterans20and20military20familiesAll you need to know about the Dems so-called support for our troops is right here.

At a time when our nation is asking great sacrifices of our brave men and women serving in Iraq and Afghanistan, a new poll indicates that too many have not received the resources they need and were promised. According to a poll release this week by VoteVets.org Action Fund, 42 percent of the veterans who served in Iraq and Afghanistan reported receiving sub-standard equipment while on duty.

The illustration they chose to use is a Canadian soldier. You can confirm that here, where you'll find the second picture down.

Note the red decoration used in the Canadian military parade.

So much for their support of our troops.

Michelle Malkin has additional info and contact information so you can register your complaint.

Update: Florida Cracker found the original Canadian image.

What a pathetic move by the Dems.

Based upon the ribbons the soldier is wearing, you can confirm he is Canadian. See the full image linked above and look at the ribbons. He is wearing the Canadian Special Services Medal at fat left. The decoration at far right is for 12 years of service.

All of the decorations he is wearing can be found hear via a Canadain military site.

lgf points out how they photoshopped the beret to hide a Canadian military insignia. I guess they just couldn't bring themselves to actually support the American forces with an image.

Comments

No, I don't think they photoshopped the cap. It's like that on i-Stock.

They're wearing poppies so the photos were taken on Remembrance Day (November 11th). The second, larger, photo shows former Canadian Prime Minister, Jean Chretien, in the back, on the left.

The photographer has come forward--he photoshopped the pics himself before offering them to remove copyrighted symbols. Still shows the Dems can't tell Canadian troops from American ones.
