Male and females abused by the teachings of their own "religion" and then they take out all their anger on the west-instead of blaming themselves-well -because it is not allowed to criticize islam. I am confused after listening to her story. How the heck can a lady with her education call Islam peaceful when she was a captive of an islamic group. Does she not see that the same group who kidnapped her also studied the Quran and Islam. I would think they know more about their religion since they grew up studing it than a lady who picks up their books. BTW she should cover up and never speak again because she doesnt know what the hell she is talking about.

All i could tell what she was saying is that according to the islami belief you arent supposed to beat your wives, wemon are equal (they have the same rights to get an education, etc.), and that they cover thier faces (and everything else) to be "dressed modestly". A little fyi for you, the group that held her captive represents the true teachings of the Quran about as well as a KKK member represents the entire religion and belief system of Christianity.
The religion of Islam has been hijacked by extremist and the media that loves to exploit them.
I think the people of the west especially men are bitter about the viel because it means you no longer get to get sexually aroused every time you see a female, an instead of staring down her low cut shirt you have to actually listen to her words of intelligence and wisdom...sorry, but in Islam we don't play that game.
