The Iranian Uranium

You might want to check out CJ's brief post on Iran and nuclear development. He has some knowledge in the field.

Meanwhile Debka claims there's an armada off the coast of Lebanon. We'll see. I'm not familiar enough with what we'd usually be doing in theater to know how significant their report might be. They suggest it is in consideration of a possible broader war involving Iran, Syria, Israel and the US.

Update: Allah has also updated his Uranium post here. Too bad I have no more faith in the IAEA than I do the WaPo when it comes to Iran and nukes. See link for more.

Previous traces were found to have been the result of used and discarded centrifuge equipment the Iranians bought from Pakistan. Officials at the IAEA said privately yesterday that the new contamination appears to be from old spent fuel the Iranians moved out of harm’s way during their eight-year war with Iraq.
