Foley Update

I would assume these have been leaked to Drudge. I'd also assume we're looking at criminal charges. Sick, stupid bastard.

Awful news all around. Foley is sick and the GOP just lost a seat. I am wondering, however, why the boy (who was a Republican page) is just coming forward now. Who put him up to it?

I live in Rep. Foley's district and I have voted for him every time. He has done an outstanding job for us, and for our country.

I am shocked over this...I know the race for reelection here was getting hot, I am not surprised to see something happen, but I would never have expected this.

I had heard Liberal Air America Radio host Randi Rhodes dis him once on her program that comes on here after Rush Limbaugh; Randi called Foley a "closet homosexual". I thought that was in poor taste then, but coming from her, it is to be expected.

I hope this is not true, and I hope this is not going down the road it appears to be heading.

I live in Foley's district as well but there've been rumors for YEARS about him and his questionable relationships with young boys. I don't know anyone who's really surprised at this. what most of us are surprised at, is how long he got away with it. He's a frequent visitor to our local, how do you say it, transgender establishments always hiding behind his alleged crusade for children's safety. Who's laughing now Mr Foley????? The e-mails get much worse according to local TV. He asks if this CHILD is circumcised etc etc This is a definite democratic pick up seat now. Foley should probably get the hell out of Florida, there are a group of irate parents who just said "We're going to kick his gay as#!!" Surprised they had it on TV!
