Federal investigators have subpoenaed records of a rental deal between U.S. Sen. Robert Menendez (ed. - D appointed) and a non-profit agency in Union City, launching a criminal investigation that is sure to rock New Jersey’s hotly contested Senate race.
Authorities delivered the subpoena to the North Hudson Community Action Corp. earlier this week, according to three sources familiar with the move who requested anonymity because of the ongoing investigation.

Interesting. Did you know the the Department of Justice is now investigating Tom Delay's wife. She was allegedly pais big bucks for a job she never had. Indictments coming in November.

It is interesting. Now who will the New Jersey Democrats get to replace Menendez when he drops out of the race? Bob Toricelli is probably rested and ready to go.
