I've already pointed out that the Washington Post distorted remarks directed at the Left's latest incarnation of Sidartha by Virginia Senator George Allen.
The guy isn't wearing a Mullet, as the WaPo and Webb campaign have alleged. So, they are distorting that bit of information, too. Hell, there are a lot of things Allen could have called him looking like that. I probably would have been worse. lol
Butthead comes quickest to mind.
You can read much more about the controversy here at VaConservative.

Shorter Dan Riehl: "If that Webb campaign guy didn't want to be subjected to racial slurs, he shouldn't have cut his hair real short on the sides like that. Heh! Butthead!"
What are you, six years old?

Well, you tried anyway. Too bad there's a video that pretty directly has Allen speaking directly to "macaca there" and directing his comments at him. Certianly "macaca" was being treated as a proxy for Webb, but denying that he was also speaking directly to the person present is just too silly to maintain.
If you can call that kid's haircut a mohawk, then you can be just as sloppy and call it a mullet. It doesn't much matter, because macaca sounds nothing like mohawk anyway, and that was only the first of three different contradictory excuses Allen has made so far.
Poor Chad, too. Allen's front-runner status for the White House was Chad's ticket to a major position of federal political power. Now it looks like even the folks at National Review are calling that a dashed chance.

The point is not what the guy's hairstyle is. The point is that Allen called him "Macaca" for no reason whatsoever and that also happens to be an arcane racial slur. Weird coincidence.
Also, it's impossible to watch the exchange/ridicule and not get the strong whiff of abusive nativism. "Welcome to America"? Asshole.

I only found this page because closet wingnut Mickey Kaus linked to you. Free tip: your "Lord of the Rings" font is goofy.
