Terrorists Celebrate Labor Day

Update: Round up of reporting at PJM

No, not really. But I can well imagine some on the Left coming up with that excuse for this. Obviously these guys were just stocking up on propane for the home grill what with Labor Day coming in the US. Clearly the german government is making all too much of it just to help Bush and attack Ned Lamont. Riiiight.

Aug. 18 (Bloomberg) -- Two suitcases containing bottles of gasoline, propane gas and a detonating device that were found abandoned in German regional trains last month were bombs primed to go off and kill a ``high number'' of people, police said.

``We're accusing as yet unknown suspects of having tried to ignite unconventional flammable and explosive devices on July 31, 2006, in the cities of Dortmund and Koblenz with the aim of killing a high number of people,'' Federal Prosecutor Rainer Griesbaum said at a press conference in Wiesbaden, Germany, today. The perpetrators are suspected of being members of a ``domestic terrorist organization,'' Griesbaum said.

Born in December 1939, I was such a young kid when WW2 broke out. But you know what I remember? Citizens THOUGHT IT WAS THEIR DUTY TO BE ALERT! It was one reason the Japs were given safety. Those camps wheren't just containment places. FDR knew what was gonna happen to a minority sect seen as the enemy. Wasn't done to the german's? True. But the germans didn't stand out like sore thumbs. If they had gone on ramages against Jewish interests in America, things would have been different. But so many were glad to be here. And, not under hitler's thumb. That you have to credit what Capitalism means. And, what it means when you're invested.

Again. And, I mean this in the best way. Citizens who fly (so by definition you're not worried about the slums), there's a brand new sense of the same mission that so many Americans felt during the 40's.

Let me explain. The police cannot be everywhere. Citizens, themselves, have to be ALERT. And, that's a key. In the 40's Americans participated. Americans WERE ALERT! And, every town. Every byway. Had places when the troop trains came through; our men in uniform were met by welcoming teams. The spirit in this country ran so high, it ran coast to coast. Even before we had FREEWAY systems.

To the arabs: As long as they keep free of participating in full frontal brawls with Americans they're safe "enough." Not completely. Because the anger against the turds runs high. But all they have is the MSM. And, those cameras just can't be every place. While American EYEBALLS can. Do you understand what I'm saying?
