Still More Reuters Fakery
Take a look at these two photos by ... you guessed it, Adnan Hajj. Purportedly Lebanese civilians are running away from a site after an Israeli bombing, never mind that they take the long way around through an anti-aircraft firing position. Point is, if you compare both images it's obvious these photos were staged. There are three people in the first image and Hajj has changed his position between images one and two for a better angle and both men are careful to take time and show their pearly whites for the camera.

Not exactly what the pictures show. You need to take a bit more time. Example: no pearly whites in both, just for starters.

I see, they went from standing around looking to fleeing suddenly? Not buyinmg that one, GV. He has a whole series of picks at that location. And I love the one below - he manages to just happen across a burning Koran out of an entire building gone? This guy is about propaganda, not reporting.

Yup. POSED. You do notice the 3 guys in the first picture. With the first leaping up on the barrel. Then, with the background check, you see the anti-tank or anti-aircraft gun. So these were the guys manning it. And, are now running.
This raises all sorts of questions, too. Were the men merely posing? Running up the barrel? Only one of the three is not shown. So maybe, he tripped? But you don't really know they're RUNNING AWAY! They may just have taken time out from their shooting duties to pose? And, then they just ran back? There doesn't seem to be much "military supervision, though."
That's the difference between guerrillas. And, the formally trained tactics of the IDF. The other thing to notice? They guerrillas aren't given any uniforms. Natch. We know that. Also, its daylight. Good for the cameraman. But it's not so high risk. The sky, on a clear day, gives this cannon fodder a chance to play.
Be funny, if there had been more people around. SOrt'a like at the top of the Empire State Building. When you can put a dime in the swinging equipment up there, stand on the small pedestal. And, move these big jerky binoculars around.
Yup. Also noticed how inefficient the guerrilla's are. They leave their gun unprotected. And, they themselves haven't got much except their legs, so they can run away. Not even walkie-talkies. In a real army you'd get all sorts of demerits for the faults attributable to these soldiers. It's exactly light fighting cockroaches.

yes is staged, doesn't comply with the story. Just one remark, the photographer does not make the paper or the story, he makes the pictures and the paper picks the pictures and also edits the story (eventually the paper is a commerical business and they want readers)

I am not saying they are not posed. I agree that they are. I am saying you are not being precise when you write: "both men are careful to take time and show their pearly whites for the camera." I'm seeing a white patch for teeth in one shot and it is not clear, as the comment implies, that they are smiling for camera. Could just be effort. A minor point, but minor points are what all turns on.

It also shows the lie that the IAF is bombing "civilians". Those "civilians" were manning an antiaircraft machinegun. You have to wonder how many hezzie "civilians" are manning weapon systems aimed at Israel.

Here's another photo from the same day by Hajj, with a caption also reading: "Lebanese citizens run shortly after Israeli warplanes bombed Qasmiya Bridge near Tyre in south Lebanon July 12, 2006. (REUTERS/Adnan Hajj)"
