I've been negligent in keeping up the general links for war coverage - posted below. As disappointed as I and many others are by developments, the end game is extremely far from clear. Allah has been tracking today's developments. It might almost be preferable to remain focused on Lebanon, instead of re-focusing on Iraq. No doubt that time is coming soon.
Elements of the IDF have reached the Litani River. They've also bombed most remaining roads into Syria. Consequently, significant elements of Hezbollah are now trapped between elements of the IDF and the border. That's hardly a recipe for a cease fire. If the Lebanese army heads South before a larger UNFIL force, we could easily wind up with a hot war between Israel and Lebanon itself.
As with most if not all of what passes for diplomacy through the UN these days, this thing is still a royal mess. Stay tuned.
Here's the latest war news from the Middle East: Pajamas Media, or read a few regional blogs. I like to check the JP headlines, as well.

Caroline Glick has up a must read article at jpost.com entitled "unmitigated disaster" refering to the UNSC cease fire agreement.

Hezzbollah is backing out of the "ceasefire", just like everyone knew they would. Now the IDF and just keep killing them, while the UN fritters some more. As Condi said, we will see who wants peace and who wants war. Like none of knew how this would play out with Hezz. Plus, the diplo dance buys more time.
