He lost. But he's running as an Indy. And McKinney is out - even better news!!
To tell the truth, I only had one real worry about Lieberman, that if he lost he wouldn't run as an Independent. He made the announcement tonight - he's running. As far as I'm concerned that's potentially the best scenario given that CT is such a Liberal state.
The Dem base threw Lieberman out of the party. If he wins the general election over Lamont - not a given, but very possible, that demonstrates how out of touch the Democrat base is with the population as a whole.
I've also always found Lieberman to be a principled guy. So, I'm pleased to see him still in the game.
Check out Hot Air to catch Lamont's and Lieberman's post-election speeches. Lieberman isn't up yet, it will be. But I listened to Lamont. Call me biased, I still say the guy is an empty suit. Repeating the lines Democrats have been shouting for two decades doesn't mean anything to me. We'll see how he holds up in the general election. But, truthfully, Lieberman better learn how to campaign again if he really wants to win. I suspect Lamont will create enough opportunities to beat him up.
Personally I think Joe will win big in November. He'll drag the center dems with him while "center" and "thinking" Republicans will push him over the top.

Check out all the videos of her NEW FOUND FRIENDS (body guards) THUGS...beat up on the 11 Alive News crews not once but twice today and tonight. This women is totally a sicko and is very dangerous. Good ridance to CYNTHIA MCKINNEY. Maybe she will go camp out with her new found buddy Cindy Sheehan now. She also had a lot to say at her consession speech. The Usual bashing and trashing of the President. I am sure after all this strange behavior, typical of a sore loser I might ad will be all over the front pages tomorrow. What a sorry excuse for a human.
