Wow, who would have thought this was coming? Didn't some people all but hound the Mother to death? I wonder, did he do it? Or is he just after a way out of a Bangkok prison?

Federal officials familiar with the case, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said the man was already being held in Bangkok on unrelated sex charges. Media reported that the suspect, a 41-year-old second-grade teacher, will be brought back to the United States this weekend.

KUSA reported that a man they call a suspect was arrested Wednesday morning and has confessed to certain elements of the crime that are unknown to the general public, KUSA reported.
Rest in Peace Patsy, hopefully they have found the psycho! This just shows the ignorance of the Boulder detectives who are more worried and hippy college students then solving a legitimate murder. With all the evidence heads should roll in Boulder!

Why confess? If you didn't kill her, you wouldn't. But if you did why not? What were the Thailand charges and likely outcome?
Once back in a US court my lawyer has a great chance of getting anything said in Thailand thrown out. And he will act both incompetent and nutty as hell on every occasion from this moment on.
Until we know what he faced in Thailand we won't know much about why he might confess. Sometimes people just confess.
