More Also a New Zealand based cameraman.
A Fox employee in Gaza, who declined to give his name because he was not authorized to release information about the incident, said the two kidnapped people were reporter Steve Centanni, a U.S. citizen, and a cameraman from New Zealand.
The men, along with a bodyguard, were parked near the headquarters of the Palestinian security services when two trucks filled with gunmen pulled up and boxed them in, according to the employee. The gunmen took the two out of their sports utility vehicle, which was marked "TV," and drove away, he said.
See Ace for details. Reuters confirms.
GAZA (Reuters) - Palestinian gunmen kidnapped two foreign journalists working for the Fox News television channel in Gaza on Monday, a witness said.
The witness, a Palestinian who worked with the two journalists, said one of them, a producer, was an American, and the other, whose nationality he did not know, was a cameraman.
The Fox News bureau in Jerusalem said it was checking the report.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the abduction.

This has been confirmed on TV while ago. They did nto say who it was. But thanks to you we know now. Thank you. I hope they do nto do to them what they did to that one person you posted about. My God ! Savages ! I hope they will be released unharmed.

It is a terrible story, and I do hope they are safely released.
I can't help but wonder , however, if the right wingers will accuse them of being "traitors" the way they have Jill Carroll. Sad to me how often compassion is determined by the ideology of the victims these days.

I wonder if the left leaning anti american liberals will support the terrorist who captured the Fox news reporters. I am sure alot of liberals love the news that some Fox News employees where captured since that is CNN's biggest opponent.

No news of the reporters. No one is claiming responsibility.
This does nto look good. Steve Centani is 60 years old.
He is a good man and its very sad for his family. I read
where the family of the camera man from New Zealand was
on the way there.
If anyone has any news please post it.
Thanks.

I am very concerned that their has been no further mention of the capture of Steve Centani, especially from Fox News. You can not make a statement like that during War and then say nothing.
I am seeking a update

Steve Centani - paisan, stay BRAVE. I am praying for you. Just a note to everybody else, I cannot believe there's been such little on Fox or CNN about this. I saw one 2-minute clip showing Steve's family pleading to for any information and for his safe return. WHY IS FOX BEING SO SILENT ON THIS? And yet, all we hear about today is john karr????? Steve Centani is one of the best newscasters/reporters and did good reporting and no hezBaalah boot-licking througout the "conflict" in the middle east the past month. I agree in prayer with all you folks for Steve.
