In a travesty of reporting buried within a CNN story on a controversial video emerging out of Lebabon, CNN World gives us this happy news:
Hezbollah has pledged that its fighters south of the Litani will disarm.
Not only is that patently false, one can check thousands of wire stories to confirm the complete dishonesty in the CNN report. Below is only one example. Pick one for yourself ... and consider informing CNN while you're at it. Evidently their web editors don't read around very much.
RAS EN NAQUORA, Lebanon - "Are you dreaming?" was a wizened sergeant's response when asked Thursday whether the Lebanese Army would try to disarm Hezbollah, as called for by a UN-brokered truce between Israel and Hezbollah that began five days ago.
The sergeant's answer produced great guffaws from a small group of soldiers chatting on the stoop of a small building perched on a cliff above the Mediterranean Sea about 300 metres from the so-called Blue Line that is the border with Israel.

If I was CNN I'd heart Hezbollah, too. And Katrina. And "global warming". And anything else that causes controversy, bloodshed and death.
Good for business.

How about an analysis NOT draped in right wing demagoguery? That would be refreshing.

Jamie, Dan's analysis is soaked in cynicism, not right wing ideology.
If you believe that Hezbollah will *not* undertake what it can to rearm and reposition, then frankly you're an idiot. That utterly transcends left-right partisanship.
Grow up, por favor.
