All war is state-sponsored terrorism, for Pete's sake! It also would appear to be racist in motivation, but I don't think that helps much. And no, don't even try to play the anti-semitic card. They're all Semites in that part of the world, duh! They obviously have been responsible for over 90% of this carnage. Wow, the "terrorists" have a handful of prisoners versus the thousands Isreal has, but that gives the paranoid Izraelis license to bomb relentlessly against soveriegn Lebanon, and (now reoccupied) Gaza.
Give me break. They say they are bombing the airport and some roads because they are used by Hezbollah. Well, why don't they just bomb the post office and McDonalds while they're at it. I think they were great spots to communicate terrorist actions. This is outright stupid.

Uh, if they're all Semites.......how the hell can there be a racist motivation? Seems like someone in their sixties might be a wee bit wiser than that. Israel also uses other aircraft, including their own, so it's fool hardy at best to blame the US for their strength. They have their own nukes as well..the US did not sell the technology to them. I guess the next time France attacks England it will be the US fault because they also have US weapons? Then again..both sides of that scenario would have US weapons. The UN passed three resolutions asking Lebanon to disarm the hezzies. Israel asked Lebanon to place it's troops on IT'S OWN BORDER to stop hezzie supplies yet the rockets and sappers kept coming to Israel. One wonders why you we.rent so upset until Israel stood up for itself???????? No problem with Israeli women and children being murdered I suppose.................

The fact here is that Palestine existed and belonged to Palestinians before Jews were brought to that region. They were settled by English empire which was the strongest force in the world at that time. After everything is said and done and Israel was forcefully created by basically invading Palestine. This is when the conflict started.
Now if we look at the politics, throughout the years Jews became one of the most influential factors in the United States economy and foreign politics. This is why US has always been with Israel and supplying them with weapons and shit.
I remember reading one of the BBC conflict reporter's descriptions of what Israely troops did to Palestinian territory. He said, that he had never seen such level of destruction since he has been reporting from war caught territories. Not to mention the fact that Sharon allowed news coverage only after they cleaned everything up despite the "suggestions" from US to allow reporters in.
Now people say, oh Palestinians are terrorists. There's a reason for that. I was tought always to look at the essence of the problem and both sides not just one. They asked on one of the news channels in Europe, this small Palestinian kid, how and what is he going to do in life. He answers, I want to kill as much Israelis as possible. Not literally but you get the point. The reason why, this reporter was explaining, is because this kid's whole family was killed by Israelis and the only thing he has to live for in life is to avenge his parents, sisters, brothers.
I just think that it's not as black and white as people see it. There's always a reason behind each act of violence.

Friendly advice: please look into facts that pre-date 1948 or 1917. "Palestine" is an Anglicization of the Roman invader/occupier's name for a part of Judea.
If prior claim means anything, then the Jews have it.

Yes the obvious documented reasons for the violence (the killing and kidnapping of Israeli soldiers inside their sovereign territory and over 6,000 rockets launched from Lebanon toward Israeli cities over the last six years) mean nothing.
Those aren't valid "reasons" for Israel. But some mystery boy, with some mystery family is the cause of it all.

Where were you when the soldier was kidnapped. There is a lot I don't like about Israel but much of the posting on this seems to anti-semitism veiled in new world peace logic.
