Some Seattle Shooting Facts Getting Lost In The Coverage

You won't find any of the details below in the latest New York Times report on the shooting in Seattle.

Alleged shooter, 30 or 31 year-old Naveed Afzal Haq was apparently raised in and around the Islamic Centre of Tri-Cities in Richland, which his Father, Mian Haq, started around the family in 1981.

When Mian Haq of Richland founded the center in 1981, it was made up of his family and one other woman.

Naveed Haq would have been approximately five-years old, as he's listed on the alumni page as having graduated from Richland High School in 1994. Ironically enough, the school's teams are called the Richland Bombers.

Said to require medication for a bi-polar disorder, he's also alleged to have exposed himself in a shopping mall. Naveed Haq also had a permit to carry a concealed weapon and kept a handgun in a safe deposit box.

Local media reported Haq was on medication for a bipolar disorder and had a misdemeanor lewd conduct charge pending. He allegedly exposed himself at a shopping mall.

For now, his where abouts for the past two weeks are unknown. It's been reported that he left his apartment, purportedly for Pakistan two weeks ago. That would coincide with the beginning of the current hostilities in the Middle East.

Naveed Haq lived in an apartment building at 2924 Nassau St. in Everett until about two weeks ago, when he abruptly left, said tenant Chris Richey. The landlady told Richey that Haq was heading to Pakistan. Richie often talked with Haq about guns and politics, though little stuck out. Richey said Haq didn't like President Bush.

Haq told Richey he owned a .45-caliber handgun, which he kept locked up in safety deposit box.

The law-enforcement source said Haq had a license to carry a concealed weapon.

Alrighty then...lets review the bidding on this incident.

Haq was issued a CCW hand gun permit but had been diagnosed with Bi-Polar personality disorder and was allowed to purchase a hand gun. These two issues stand out like a turd in the punchbowl! The additional record of his "weenie wagging" incident at a shopping mall is just a bonus I guess.

I have had a FFL for years and KNOW that the agency that issued the permit should have been notified by the 'competent medical authority", the Doctor, that he was no longer qualified by LAW to own a firearm or hold a CCW Permit or Purchase a firearm of any kind, regardless of his 'religion' or ethnic origin.

The rest of the story is just natural and logical consequences of allowing mentally unstable individuals to be influenced by the Death Cult 7th Century beliefs of Islam, to carry concealed weapons and act impulsively on the streets of America.

Anyone that worries about the Current Vibe on the Arab Street are taking the minutae of world events too seriously. They should worry about the radical Islam cells that are alive, well and sadly HERE on Our Streets!

Is there a pattern here? Yep. Connecting the dots after the fact is too late for prevention of tragedies.

What worries me is how the MSM are downplaying this incident like it was simply a "lone gunman" and not some Muzzie-perv-terrorist incident which is one of many such incidents by hidden cells in this country who take their orders and fatwahs from mullahs and teachers who spew the anti Jew/Christian hatred that is prevalent in their mosques and muslem schools. If it had been a Jew who had gone into a mosque and shot it up wounding several people, it would have been an international incident.

Sorry, old trooper, but I disagree with you on this one. The only reason law enforcement would have been notified about his psychiatric problems,(and hopefully the Department of Justice, also)would have been if he had admitted during therapy to planning to harm himself or other/s. Otherwise, the medical community is not required to report a persons psychiatric condition to the police. I fully respect your FFL and what it took to get it, but I am a former psychotherapist who has had a CCW for the past 30 years covering several types of weapons. Now, if there are any strange little hitches to this process, then it would be a good bet that he possessed the permit prior to his being diagnosed and coming to the attention to the police with his "wennie wagging". Please don't take this comment wrong, as I have read many of your comments and appreciate your point of view. Also, the article didn't mention where he got the CCW from. Different "issuers" have different application forms; however, the DOJ is supposed to ultimately be notified of each application and is in the position to deny it. Granted, the local police records would have been checked first, but if his offences were after the receipt of the CCW or if he got it from another community, law enforcement would have no idea of the mans problems.
