Same Old UN

Syria barred the UN diplomatic mission unless it dropped off one of its members who has had the nerve to be critical of Syria in the past, and also issued reports highlighting its support for the terrorist group Hezbollah.

So, what does the UN do? They high-tail it back to New York to report on all the diplomatic initiatives and have the audacity to go on the record about their relief of not having had to confront the decision.
