I'm scheduled to be on Wide Awakes Radio with Kit and Heidi tonight at 11PM ET to talk about the as yet innocent Pendleton 8. More on that later. See Michelle Malkin's post and this post of mine for now.

Looks like great reading, Dan! Thanks, and good luck on your radio "gig" as my son calls his (rock) band shows! I'm sure you'll rock! :)

Here's a little something about reltion. George Bush famously once said that Jesus Christ was his favorite political philosopher. That would be the same George Bush that presided over something like 150 executions in Texas. I guess I missed where Jesus said he was for the death penalty.
And about whom Gary Bauer said: "I think it is nothing short of unbelievable that the governor of a major state running for president thought it was acceptable to mock a woman he decided to put to death." Just before her execution date, Tammy Faye Tucker appealed for clemency on the grounds that she had become a born-again Christian. Bush's reply: "Please,' Bush whimpers, his lips pursed in mock desperation, `don't kill me,'"
Guess I missed that part of Jesus' teachings.
