Markos Moulitsas has several of his own posts up today. Two touch upon the Democratic Primary in CT. But no mention at all of former President Bill Clinton appearing on Lieberman's behalf. That might get a pass except for a few facts. No one knows inside Dem politics like Markos.
When Hillary ran into trouble due to Bill's involvement in the Dubai Ports deal, he went out of his way to make it clear Hillary's career took precedence from now on and he wouldn't involve himself in things political without communicating with her.
WASHINGTON - After being surprised by her husband's role in the Dubai ports deal, Sen. Hillary Clinton has insisted that Bill Clinton give her "final say" over what he says and does, well-placed sources said.
The former President agreed to give his wife a veto to avoid his habit of making controversial headlines that could hurt her chances of returning to the White House, multiple sources told the Daily News.
Excluding Warner, every major Pol who has backed Lieberman has been savaged by DailyKos for being out of touch. Interesting, is the Netroots already starting to bow to the Queen of the powers that be, Hillary Clinton? I thought she represented the very power structure they wanted to take on? Markos is either moving to the center along with her, or simply doesn't want to risk being left on the platform if the Hillary train starts to pull away in the race for the Presidency in 2008.
