Hoping everyone today is having a great 4th with their family and friends.

The Space Shuttle launch today just as cool as it always is.
I hope for the rest of their trip they will stay safe.
What a "great" 4th of July it was to see the shuttle take off
with the biggest of bangs. It was a historical launch as out of all
the launches, none has ever been done on the 4th before. Now that was
one more Big rocket. Good for them !

now about this ..
The creepy Korean was just trying to take away from the USA'S
celebration today. My focus is certainly not on this jerk-off
and his antic's today. What a stupid idiot.

Just heard that North Korea launched 6 or even 7 missles today. Gues the first 3 did not get enough attention for them. What a foolish man. Does he not know we could turn that piece of land into a glass parking lot in an instant.
We ought to simply make fun of them and laugh at them for the fools they are. This little
man is a complete idiot. No doubt about it.

This little jerk is probably pissing off his commie backers in Russia and Red China. I suspect he will soon disappear.

I was a bit disappointed that the big one did not reach California.

Rick.......hehe.

Sick joke huh Rick. Maybe it will find its way to your doorsteps where ever that is if they try it again. LOL.

One has to really wonder about the timing. Was it just to piss us off? Or perhaps a real foreshadowing of events? or both? What exactly are his intentions? war? ransom?

This might be a stupid question, but what would a successful test firing have looked like? I mean, where would these missiles have landed if the tests were successful? And, what would have been the ramifications if they were "successful"?

"Sick joke huh Rick."

No joke, just sick. See smartass, we dont deserve what we have in this country and tooo many of us need a real wake up call. Where I am, I dont worry nor care very much about what the tyrants and terrorists of the world do to the rest of you.

"Sick joke huh Rick."

But here's a REAL funny. Remember when Reagan convinced the Soviets to tear down the Berlin Wall, shortly before they went bankrupt and collapsed? Remember how "starwars" and every missile defense system thereafter was just another "rightwingwacko" conspiracy to help rich friends?????? The "Cold War" WAS over after all. Comon, you all remember how we have NOTHING to worry about......... So welcome to the real world of those of us who get paid to protect your sorry butts.

Oh, sorry, I thought we were discussing the missle tests. I see now we are just using this as yet another forum to bash and trash each other... I'll go elsewhere to actually discuss this latest development and maybe learn something.
Carry on.

RICK..stick it where the sun don't shine. Get a life you idiot.

Actually, Rick's pretty much right. A little smug, but right nonetheless.

It never, never, never pays to forego basic research, even if it's for something you think you can't use at the moment. ...as missile defense in the last days of the Cold War.

A cash-strapped ex-Soviet empire might find itself with a mid-level yuckmeister willing to sell an odd missile or three...

Some Iraqi dictator might want to fling new-age V2s around the Syrian Desert...

Some tinhorn Pol Pot wannabe might want to start flinging long-range V2s over the Pacific...

But more to the "reach California" point... It was but 4-1/2 years ago that Bush made his infamous "axis of evil" speech, to the hyper-sensitive dismay of Left Coastees the nation over. Buth there's a reason these people are called "Left Coastees": their cultural [sic] and moral [sic] center [sic] is on our west coast.

They didn't like Bush calling the spade a spade. For as every hyper-sensitive, group-hug peacenik knows, a spade is really a "pointed metal-bladed earth invasion tool".

How dare, how friggin da-a-a-a-are, the US prez call NKorea a rogue nation. ...um, cuz it is and was? Just a guess.

But anyway, now that NKorea has missiles that can [theoretically] reach our ... uh ... Left Coast, and those missiles don't just pop up overnight but take years and years to develop ... are there any who originally criticized the "axil of evil" speech now forwarding an apology for not completely understanding the situation?

Anyone?

Anyone at all?

Damn rwlymz, i was really liking Unreal's highly intelligent reply then you come in the room and scare him off with an actual debate. You and I saw this day coming years ago when the "former" President sold nuclear technology to Korea and gave China favored nation status. This goes beyond selling a few stingers to the Mujahadeen back in the eighties. BG the Koreans now have missles that WILL reach Japan (I really do hope those work,,,they deserve it) parts of the old USSR and very, very soon damn near to Idaho. (Idaho is in the US there Unreal) Of course, they arent REALLY a threat to us except as an embarassment. Korea is merely playing thug and GWB is the guy behind the liqour store counter. Kim Someill says "ahso, my peeps eat dogs and monkeys. Give us money and slurpies and we no nuke a you ass." Maybe the Chinese will take some of their Walmart money and stand up like an ally for a change........maybe.
