I sent an email to Ace, not sure if he'll update - but I'm unclear as to why there should be any continuing debate. Greenwald is obviously guilty of sock puppeting - as charged.
We know the puppetry came from his home and the sock puppet posted an alleged email from GG detailing his CV - and finally getting honest about his intern status, by the way.
Either GG was doing the puppeting alone, or he was doing it right along with his boyfriend - supporting him by providing the email quotes. Actually, even if there were two different addresses for the two IP's, that would still hold up. In that case, Greenwald's boyfriend was running around changing names supporting him without disclosing his relationship - and Greenwald provided the substance needed to support his arguments.
Perhaps they were having a little tee hee moment, as I imagine gay lovers in Brazil might be want to do .. er, something like that. Not that I'm suggesting they were acting like high school girls while doing it, or anything.
Guilt established, banishment to Brazil is in order.
