If you listen to this video from CNN, NY Times Editor Bill Keller confirms that three people outside the administration called the Times regarding the publication of classified information. However, if you listen to Keller, he makes it clear that "not all of them urged us not to publish."
So, what is it that Murtha said, assuming Kean and Hamilton urged the Times to not report the information?

Who would be foolish enough to go to Murtha and ask him to go to the Times. We know he is an angry, partisan man who was briefed on Hathida and quickly went on Chris Matthews' show and revealed contents of this confidential briefing in the most damning way.
Foolish move on the administration's part.

So Keller, seeing as how it's your job to tell us everything about everything: who didn't urge you not to publish. We have a right to know.
