Some may remember my friend Pundita, who up and stopped posting some time ago. I always relied upon her to make me sound intelligent on certain International matters. Looks like she's back! And not at a loss for words,or an opinion.
I wrote in Dean Kamen vs the World Bank... that in the next post I would “tackle” the kind of thinking that informs Kamen's push to save the world via cheap energy and clean drinking water. Thank goodness Pundita always strives to avoid a puffy head, else I might have rashly written that I would explain the thinking.
In truth Pundita cannot fathom, much less explain, the thinking of people who devise a plan to eradicate the world’s worst poverty, then expect the entire world -- to include the US foreign office -- to clamp the lid on chaos when the newest plan for reaching the Promised Land overlooks a few factors, such as the plan won’t work.
