And New Jersey, too - for that matter, even if I do live here. It seems a bit ironic to me that two states from which the majority of Federal office holders have opposed preemption, interrogation and intelligence ops designed to protect the US from future terrorism can take the couple hundred million they did get for Homeland Security and shut up.

At last, an honest Republican.
You have the decency to admit that your side doesn't care about all Americans--only those who vote for your party.
Just don't use what happened to us on 9/11 as an excuse to launch your next war.

Oh, and New York says "Screw you" right back--especially for your obscene 2004 convention where you exploited our tragedy for your own partisan gain.

New York is STILL getting more money to waste than any other city or state. So shut up yer whining. It was a one time shot anyway, will never happen again so why be so nervous?

Nice. So I suppose all you neocons have also thrown out the FDNY hats you so coveted in the aftermath of 9/11?
When you start imposing political litmus tests prior to dispensing aid, we are truly lost. As a Republican, I blame Rove and his ilk for the divisive climate in this country. I may disagree with Democrats on policy, but the real enemies of this country are in my own Republican party. I HATE that. And I look forward to the day when they leave and take their extremism with them.

Still it is never going to happen again. Be kinda hard to blow up buildings that aren't there now wouldn't genius? Unless of course someone blows that big old empty hole into a mound. So quit whimpering and get on with your useless lives.

That's right bozo blame a handful of people instead of taking personal responsibility. Certainly don't blame the 40-50 years of dem controlled congress who tortured and abused the people in the mid east. Lying in bed with Israel all the while. If you infidels would just convert to islam, there would be no more attacks. By the way, I got my FDNY hats 30 years ago. One to sh-- in and another to cover it with.
