I'm happy for and agree with Biden's plans, as long as he's been fixed.

Are you so insecure that you have to refer to someone whose politics you dislike as "fat?"

"Are you so insecure that you have to refer to someone whose politics you dislike as "fat?""

...but it's immediately apparent who he's talking about, isn't it? As a descriptive, it works, and that is the point of writing.

But you raise an interesting question. Would that be a suitable response the next time somebody describes, oh, idunno, ... Rush Limbaugh, f'rinstance?

Karl Rove?

Whenever someone uses the common dismissives about Bush can people ask: Are you so insecure that you have to refer to someone whose politics you don't like as a mumble mouth? ...having goofy ears?

Or when people criticize Cheney using the typical backhands: Are you so insecure that you have to refer to someone whose politics you don't like as being a lousy shot?

Or Rice: ...an intelligent and educated black woman who doesn't feel the need to follow "race" as if it were a flock of sheep?

Et cetera.

Interesting question indeed.

Or, we could just accept that political discourse in a free-speech society does now, and always has, and always will, center on such foibles and characteristics. Look up "His Rotundity" just for grins and then come back and whine.

I'm still trying to figure out why Limbaugh needs viagra. What self-respecting woman would want to get that close to him? YUCK.
