Kosruption?

Okay, here's a guy, a former Kos Kid in Ohio who claims to be connecting some dots. Doesn't make it illegal. But it could mean that there's a lot of big money floating around, money of which the more ideological followers of sites like Kos and MyDD aren't aware. Certainly, they can dismiss it - and many likely will. But they should think twice about bashing Kosiburton, I mean, Haliburton. See more here.

If you delve into the FEC campaign filings for Sherrod Brown, and take a look at the disbursements you see one corporation turn up multiple times. Political Technologies LLC. A corporation registered in Washington state. A quick search of the Washington state Secretary of states office shows the following registration for Political Technologies LLC
Registered Agent Information
Agent Name JEROME ARMSTRONG
Address
616 W 37TH ST
PO BOX 5792
City VANCOUVER
State WA
ZIP 98668
The FEC filings for Political Technoligies LLC show disbursements of $12,000 on 4/21/05, $12,000 on 6/16/05, and then $5,000 as a recurring monthly fee. These expenses are described as "Website Design & Hosting".

Now some folks poked a little fun at Hackett for spending 130k on a bus to tour the state, but honestly, who pays this kind of money to host a website ? Further more these figures do not show the spending for the blogads we have seen spattered all over the web. But if you take a look at the fees for these blogads they amount to over $10,000 a month, almost $2,000 a month for dkos and MyDD alone - without considering the strange ad placements at kos sports sites.

I followed the links but I'm still not exactly sure what a "Kos kid" is. Interesting story anyway.
