Update: I removed the audi. I see some folks are posting the video. No doubt anyone will be able to find it soon, still, I'm not linking to the video. If it is a Marine and he's in Iraq, he doesn't need his face all over the Internet. You'll note in the song, he does not simply attack an Iraqi family, as the media seems to be suggesting. Total BS.
Alright, I don't want to get anyone in trouble, or fuel a fire. But it seems a little ridiculous to me that we ask young men and women to go off to war, to lay down their lives in all too many cases - and we as a society would freak out because they display what is, admittedly, a dark humor, but nothing worse than what one might find on television as in South Park, today. Well, except for one or two words, perhaps.
Sorry, but I like dark humor to begin with - and IMHO the thing is hilarious. And if you see the video it's obvious there is no genuine malice involved. Dark humor, yes, but the video makes it obvious it's pure camp.
I was out at the center of Iraq
And we were under attack
And I volunteered to go in through doors
Then the first thing that I could see
Was every-body's favorite Burger King
So I threw open the door and I hit the floorThen suddenly to my surprise
I looked up and I saw her eyes
And I knew it was love at first sightAnd she said Dirka dirka, Muhammad jihad
Surpa surpa bakala!
I said, Hadji girl I can't understand what you're sayingAnd she said, Dirka dirka, Muhammad jihad
Surpa surpa bakala!Hadji girl I love you anyway
Then she said she wanted me you see
She wanted me to go and meet her family
Well I. I couldn't figure out how to say no
Cause I don't speak Arabic, so.....She took me down an old dirt trail
She pulled up to a (inaudible)
And she threw open the door and I hit the floorCause her Brother and her Father shouted
Dirka dirka, Muhammad jihad
Surpa surpa bakala!
They pulled out their AK's so I could seeAnd they said
Dirka dirka, Muhammad jihad
Surpa surpa bakala!
So I grabbed their little sister and put her in front of meAs the bullets began to fly
the blood sprayed from between her eyes
And then I laughed maniacallyThen I hid behind the TV
And I locked and loaded my M-16
And I blew those little fuckers to eternityAnd I said
Dirka dirka, Muhammad jihad
Surpa surpa bakala!
They shoulda known they were fuckin' with a Marine
Semper Fi

Just "dark humor???" Is there anything you won't excuses???
Like it or not, our military represents our government and our people. They need to conduct themselves at all times in an approptiate manner, especially in a war zone. No excuses.

Ah Jamie does that standard apply for Americans traveling abroad? If so, you obviously haven't traveled out of country.
Got the music that accompanies this little ditty Dan?

Jamie has never been loaded down w/ a shit load of equipment in 120 degree weather while being shot at for months on end.. any humor will do the trick.. even if it's dark. As an american citizen I am completely not offended and appreciate everything that young man in the video has done for our country.. and I hope to God jamie that you never see what he, or any other one of our soldiers, has seen

I really hope that a record company picks this up and I hope it is blared from every radio station from the east coast to the west coast. I for one think its great what this man, puts his life on the line and fights for others freedom. I see all this bitching moaning and complaining about this as dark humor BS, well I think if it helps them get by for a bit then so be it! I also think that this song is no worse then half the shit that you can listen to on any radio station. Just a few names come to mind that have put out worse lyrics, 2Pac, Snoop, BIG-E, P Diddy, and the like. There are worse things to complain about lets not put down the men and women fighting in a war zone. You know how many times stuff like this has been done? During the 1st World War I am sure they had songs about the Germans and the like and every war since the begging of time and moving to the future it will continue.
