Friday Night Special
You'd think some people would stop given it's Friday. But not the ACLU. Now they're calling the latest terrorist surveillance program an abuse of power.
When you're done with the news, hop on over to Michelle's and check in on the photoshop contest featuring old World War II posters. The thumbnails are my entries.

Dan, I thought those lips weren't loose, and that was the attraction. ;-)

I created four myself (the top four on this page):

This is the one I'm proudest of:

I'm collecting all of them for my web page - I included mouseovers so you can see the original WWII posters:

Does that picture of Rove remind anyone of Artie Johnson from "Laugh-In"?

Glad to see you think the current administration are Nazi Storm-troopers.

Heil Bush!

Let me get this straight.
You reworked an Allied propaganda poster that featured a Darth-Vaderish Nazi... and you put Karl Rove in place of the Nazi??
Nice work! No, really. I mean it! Right-wingers praising their own leaders for being like Nazis. Beautiful. Way to confirm every one of my liberal preconceptions.
What would Godwin say?

So Rove IS a Nazi -- and he has the helmet to prove it!
