The NY Times has the latest on the NSA data mining operation. Wizbang has a solid round up on the issue. And SGA has a history of the issue, including prior to the Bush administration taking office.
Using classified proprietary Internet data mining technology I can't reveal, at least not without Google's permission, I'm convinced that the source for the USA Today story is a former Clinton appointee also known to be a high level undercover operator at the NSA. (now that's an intimidating looking website lol almost afraid to link the damned thing.)
Codenamed Ernestine, the operator agreed to go on the record regarding her knowledge of the NSA spying program under the previous Clinton administration.
Allegedly the surveillance was originally conceived by the First Lady to deter then President Clinton from ordering fast food take out at all hours of the night prior to running for re-election in '96'. Ernestine refused to discuss certain other details of how the program may have been employed by the Clinton White House, but did acknowledge that going to work some days was a real Tripp.
At one point the program undertook an operation at the behest of the DNC. The request resulted from months of exorbitant phone calling card bills incurred on behalf of Democrat Legislators given the phone cards as a perk. The program was terminated and deemed no longer necessary when Massachusetts Senator Ted Kennedy relented and agreed to a block on all outgoing calls to 900 numbers from his home.
Agent Ernestine was then transferred from the NSA to the White House Travel Office to make up for an unexpected labor shortage and had no more involvement with the program. When asked if she had ever actually listened in on any calls, she did mention one when the Clinton White House was, ironically, spying on other fellow Democrats.
Ernestine was briefly assigned to monitor the calls of New York Senator Charles Schumer and was surprised to learn while monitoring a call from Senator Schumer to his Mother that even she calls him a schmuck.
RWV hasn't been able to independently corroborate Ernestine's story. But then, neither has USA Today, so what the hell? One source seems to be as good as any other in this non-eavesdropping circle jerk we'll be listening to for days.
Pardon me for not getting more excited. I guess I'm just all tapped out from the BS we're getting from the MSM on this one. Allow me to replay the top.

Wonder if real reason this story came out is to deflect all the outrage over the Border Patrol finking on the Minutemen to the Illegal Alien Government (Mexico)
The Globalists, uber-liberals, even the GOP Socialists do not want the Minutemen to get any sympathy from Americans
The treason committed against the Minutemen is more serious than the NSA having phone numbers.

Pretty much nothing seems worth doing. I've just been letting everything happen without me these days. I've just been sitting around waiting for something to happen, but whatever.

More or less not much exciting happening today. I just don't have anything to say. More or less nothing seems worth bothering with.
