Impeach Bush?
To be clear, when I posted Maybe Bob was right, it wasn't a call for impeachment. MY anger was over a two year old repatriation program which isn't grounds for impeachment. And the sad fact is, no President or Congress has strictly enforced our immigration laws for decades.
Apparently some on the Right, including LaShawn, may actually be looking at grounds for impeachment.
I know the standards for impeachment are very high and my suggested article isn’t concrete enough. I appreciate everyone’s input, even dissenters, but I wish commenters had followed instructions, answered the questions, and continued the hypothetical. That was the purpose of this post.
Calls for impeachment: Don't go there

Actually impeachment is really a low end process and may even be for simple political reasons. For reference, I refer you to Raoul Berger's book _Impeachment_. It is long out of print having been published in 1973 but it covers the history of impeachment in England and the US. The offense of taking monies set for one item and spending it on another was an impeachable offense in England. If the powers that be so desire, they can impeach anyone they want for any action those in power deem necessary. The reason we have so few impeachments, IMNSHO, is that those who are not currently in the position of full power do not want to set up anything that might bite them when it is their turn at the wheel.

Whoa. THAT was interesting. The link. The author names two bloggers/blogs where I was beaten to death. And *I* was right. BOTH times. God, did they tear me up bad.
Funny how what goes around comes around.
(Sorry. That was a bit OT. I just had to sound off.)

Just impeach him already. It's something new every single day. Yesterday, we find out that the U.S. government is giving locations of the Minutemen to the Mexican government. Today, we find out that tens of millions of phone records are being monitored by the NSA. That probably includes all us bloggers. What will we find out tomorrow?

I stopped questioning....This game of corruption...New 'Executive Orders' are put on the platter, to avoid the Constitution altogether. Impeachment is not the anwser, a good arguement to oversee Checks and Balance, force representives in Senate to be accountable for their decisions or force them out...
I read the article you mention...

It seems we keep this country free by... Allowing anyone to cross the border (been go'n on for decades) then we monitior everyones movement...makes sense to me...but I applaud Qwest Communication for fighting NSA...
