No idea where this comes from, but apparently it's set to run in the NY Times tomorrow, according to Drudge.
"Democrats say it is inevitable that, in a campaign that could return the former president to the White House, some voters would be concerned and even distracted by the Bill Clinton's political role and his potential for the kind of episodes that led the House to vote for his impeachment in 1998."
NYT reporter Pat Healy is filing a 2,000+ word report this evening, newsroom sources tell the DRUDGE REPORT.
"Since the start of 2005, the Clintons were together about 14 days a month on average, according to aides who reviewed the couple's schedules. Sometimes it is a full day of relaxing at home in Chappaqua; sometimes it is coming together late at night. At their busiest, they saw each other on a single day, Valentine's Day, during February 2005 -- a month when each was traveling a great deal. In August, they saw each other at some point on
24 out of 31 days. Out of the last 73 weekends, they spent 51 together. The aides declined to provide the Clintons' private schedule."
The TIMES reports: "Several prominent New York Democrats, in interviews, volunteered that they became concerned last year over a tabloid photograph showing Clinton leaving BLT Steak in Midtown Manhattan late one night after dining with a group that included Belinda Stronach, a Canadian politician. The two were among roughly a dozen people at a dinner, but it still was enough to fuel coverage in the gossip pages."
Geesh! What's the worry, Bill and Belinda were probably only having dinner with some friends. I mean, does she really look like his type? ; )

Hillary will NEVER become president of the USA. So is this the Dem's way of letting her down easy? Signaling to her that hey you have baggage, step aside? I don't beleive for a minute that the DEMS will seriously launch her as a candidate.

Skyboxx, I agree. I don't believe they are taking her canidacy as a serious consideration for a run. There is no way she would become elected for too many reasons to list.
Seeing many Dems posturing at the gate. I wonder who the contenders will be.

You're at the top of your game with that one, Patty.
Ad infinitum: What was one of Clinton's greatest fears back in the day? A 16 year old intern with braces.
For what its' worth, has anyone noticed the sudden absence of info regarding Cong. Will Jefferson (D/ Lousiana)and the large load of cash the FBI found nicely wrapped in his freezer? Prominently in the news at first, now obviously absent. Wonder if he will get off like Marion Barry?

Please, don't you folks want to have any fun. If she runs all the nuts will come out for her and Bill will never stop talking. All the old stories will come out and all the Clinton hacks. It will be fun and everyone will be reminded of why we would never want them back.
