The Hiltzik Maneuver lol Hey, I like that. Where do you patent such things?

Rick at Real Ugly American has more details and a different take than my own. He insists it was sock-puppeting when the LA Times' Hitzik changed his ID in comments and praised himself. I didn't know the term sock puppeting even existed in terms of blogging.

But I seriously am liking the Hiltzik Maneuver for the practice.
