no comments? I'm shocked. When will we see the real update, Dan?

What about the Chicago videos??? When the F#$# will MSM acknowledge them? F##$ Aruba....They will never solve this case...

Does anyone know what the new content is on Scrux? I don't see it.

Dennis,

They have the ABC Interview transcript posted...Chris Cumo interview.

You can go to ABC and purchase any transcript for any show...except this one. They never had it available.

TIPS

TIPS,

Thanks!

I guess Joran changed his story between Chris and Greta...he mentioned going to the Lighthouse in the Chris interview and then with Greta he changes...

But it is the truth...

TIPS

TIPS,

He was afraid of the interview, so he lied.

TIPS , this is what he said in ABC interview

Interviewer: You keep driving, you get to the lighthouse.

Joran van der Sloot: No, we never went to the lighthouse.

Dennis -

Geeze - You would think he could at least remember where he went...I agree with Jack and Chin on J2K making up the HI story and telling it as they went, but him being confused on major items when it is the truth, kind of makes you wonder...I had a lot of nights out drinking and having a good time, I don't think I ever had a night where I didn't remember where I went or how I got home. There were a few times where I wondered why I brought certain people home with me, but never how I got there!

TIPS

TIPS planning on getting TIPSY on Friday nite ?!!

Enjoy your weekend .

Mark Fuhrman thought it very odd Joran and Deepak would disagree about the lighthouse trip. You can see why they might disagree about how Joran got home, because if Satish admits he drove Joran home suspicion of him is raised and that of Joran is lessened a bit. But why the lighthouse?

Jack -

If he said that in the ABC Interview with Chris Cumo, then he changed his mind in the same interview...listed below is his comment about driving to the lighthouse? Which is it, did they go there or not? Deepak gave a pretty detailed account in his Statement that was read on the telli, so I'm thinking maybe we have a fib on our hands.

Joran van der Sloot: Yeah. And I – I don’t know. I told her there’s no sharks on
Aruba. So I leaned up and I told Deepak to go ahead and drive to the lighthouse.
I was talking to her the whole time. And so she was basically telling me stuff about
her life.

Joran has come forward and told his story to the public in great detail. The burden of explaining any inconsistencies lies with the Kalpoes and then should come similarly forward and resolve this issue. Joran expressed surprise why Kalpoes are lying about the lighthouse.

Jack -

I agree that he said both things, I'm just inclined to believe 2 out of 3 people that said they went somewhere - percentages I guess.

Anyone know the path from C&C, JVS House, Hotel, Lighthouse? If you were to drive from C&C's to Joran's, do you go back past the Beach/Hotels on your way to the lighthouse? Is this the quickest route?

Also makes you wonder on the Deepak account, he mentions going from C&C directly to the lighthouse...I think?

TIPS , in both the interviews Joran said that they started going towards the lighthouse because Natalee wanted to see sharks but never got there and ended up going to the beach instead. Thats pretty clear from the transcripts and there is no confusion I think.

Best Joran comment in all the interviews to date:

Joran van der Sloot: Yes, I think this will end for me and this will end for everyone when the truth comes out.

Jack what's your favorite? I thought he was telling the truth...hmmm? :-)

I like your sense of humor TIPS , but jokes apart he meant the hard time he is facing will end for him and everybody else when the truth comes out .

I think so. That at least makes sense.

Joran's story makes no sense. They drove to his place - but didn't go in. He knows he has a good chance to "get lucky" with Natalee but lacks a condom. Wouldn't he have made an excuse to run in and get one? Instead, they never get out of the car because Natalee says she wants to see the sharks. Why were they going to Joran's house in the first place?

To have sex , Joran never denied it.

So they were going to his place to have sex, but then decided to see the sharks instead, but then decided to have sex after all - at the beach? Hmmm.

Dennis ,
I think Joran's story does make sense. Joran's plan was to have sex with Natalee once she got home with him . But they ended up going to the beach instead which was not where he thought they would end up going.
Totally unplanned. No condom in pocket , no sex . Finito

Jack -

We know Joran has two brothers and he has made statements about his Dad and Brother being home...If you were shown proof that Joran's two brothers were with Anita in the Netherland's and didn't make it home until later in that week...would you find that a little suspicious?

TIPS

Joran van der Sloot: Yes, I think this will end for me and this will end for everyone when the truth comes out.

CA interview:
Joran van der Sloot: One day, I will explain exactly what happened, but, right now, I don’t feel ready to do that.

Will we ever know the truth of what happened to Natalee??

wheres the proof ? bring it on . or are you sipping 151 proof . LOL . rememeber that he talks about only one brother.

Lexy ,
I believe Joran has told everything he knows . Beyond that its upto the investigators to find out the truth.

maybe someday we'll hear the truth from one of Joran's brothers. My oldest brother got in alot of trouble growing up, and I heard it ALL. Can't imagine the VDS household's much different.

what all did you hear Pearly ? I'm curious . ;)

nothing for you to concern yourself with, Jack.

Posted by: Pearly | Friday, April 28, 2006 at 07:14 PM

you are right. but i'm sure he had a great time ;) and finally eveything was fine and dandy with his life.

Jack -

My point is it is another fact that is easy for the ALE to verify...go to the airlines and check how many VanderSloots were on the flight and what were their names...seems pretty simple to verify...I hope they are doing their job.

That is the reason Joran gave for Paulus having to go home from the casino earlier in the day/night, you would think they would verify the facts.

TIPS

no Jack, he didn't turn out alright. Things weren't fine and dandy, and he died.

Jack -

I know you don't like the analysis on the interview that I provided yesterday...here is one I'm sure that guy would have fun with:

ABC Interview =
Joran van der Sloot: "We got in the car. And right then and there, I couldn't go back because we were going home."

Greta Interview =
Joran van der Sloot: "No, no, no. Never. He stayed behind the wheel the whole time."

----------

IMO - his language in the first interview makes it sound like more than one person got in the car and he also says "WE" were going home.

In the second interview, he says Satish never left the car.

Kind of makes you wonder if Paulus didn't come and pick him up somewhere...that would account for the "We" and the same "We" going home.

TIPS

no Jack, he didn't turn out alright. Things weren't fine and dandy, and he died.

I'm very sorry Pearly . I just didnt imagine that to have happened and shouldnt have taken things for granted. Hope you'll understand.

Hi Lexy !!! :)

TYLER :)..Long time no see..hope all is good with you.

What's your take on J2K's original false statements to ALE?

For me it always comes back to why the boys told a lie to begin with...."they were scared" is losing it's credibility. What exactly does Joran know?

Joran said in his GVS interview that he "usually" has a condom in his wallet... rather coincidental that the rare occasion when he finds himself without one in his wallet just happens to be the same occasion when the girl disappears afterwords

I'm fine Lexy , hope you too are.

Well J2K's false statements we have known all along , and they are the most powerful reason why they are suspects till now , especially given that they fabricated a complicated lie to hide the reality.

At the same time , I am not totally convinced that they are guilty either. I dont know maybe we just have to wait and hope we find answers one day.

From Greta's interview

Interviewer: Why that beach? I mean there's an awful lot of beaches in this... on this island, why that beach?

Joran van der Sloot: Because we were driving towards her hotel. That's just... and that was just the one place I wanted to get out.

At the same time , I am not totally convinced that they are guilty either. I dont know maybe we just have to wait and hope we find answers one day.

Pearly -

Sorry for you loss...Jack didn't mean anything by his comment, we have been joking back and forth all day...

TIPS

Deetch had a name posted for A.B. with a picture:

Andin Bikker

Doesn't look familiar, I'm sure we will hear more in the coming days...

TIPS

Parsing his interviews for inconsistencies here is pretty much wasted. He didn't go through a thorough examination and cross examination that would make him fill in missing parts of the narrative. It's only there that you would find meaning in what appears here as inconsistencies, which may be only parts of a continuous narrative.

Aruba thought this would just pass by and be over soon. Aruba has thought wrong on everything about this case. As the tourist fail to show up on hell island pressure will be put on people to solve the case.

Not to mention the police had J2K for an extended time looking for inconsistencies like; and as far as we know they've found one lie they agreed on that was proved wrong; and 2 or 3 lies/inconsistencies about who picked up Joran or if Joran walked.

It's a waste of time.

There are only 2 possible cases:

First, there was collusion between an unknown number of people and the boys were coached for 9 or 10 days in their stories, including the "inconsistencies", and beat the police that weren't in on it.

Second, the boys are innocent, and except for those few inconsistencies, the boy's stories didn't have any major holes.

I just can't believe the first.

Inconsistencies alone do not constitute enough evidence to convict, but that hardly suggests innocence.

We already know there WAS collusion. I can't believe the second.

Jack tells us what Joran really means when he lies.
